Be afraid. Be very afraid.

I wonder who the U.S. will attack this time in response? Someone with a fairly weak military of course..

Officials said the attacks might take place before the November presidential election in an attempt to affect the outcome, similar to the way the Madrid train bombi
Unfortunately for us, a large scale attack would be the one thing that could pull Shrub's bacon out of the fire. Sigh.

Does anyone remember how many terror threats there were in GB airports the weeks before the invasion, then suddenly, none since then. Strange.

Ummm, exactly what i thought, if there are any attacks, Bush will be more likely to win, that would be a lose - lose situation for the American people IMO.

The Republican p[platform is based on fear. Fear and authoritarianism walk hand in hand.

Both of them are also members of NATO but i hear they are now irrelevant since they didn't support the war. However, they might become relevant once again if GW wants them to help out in Iraq.

It's hard to find a replacement for Iraq, maybe the US could invade Iraq again? You know, hand over power for a week and then invade again. That might be a possible solution with very few casualties and people could sit at home watching FOX and commenting on how great it is when explosions that kill civilians occur. Oooops, strike that last remark, don't want to bring reality in to the living room. Just think of it as hmmmm lemme see, i need to come up with a catchy name, got it, shock and awe!

(CNN) -- Several U.S. officials said Tuesday that intelligence indicates there is increasing concern about the possibility of a major terrorist attack on U.S. soil, perhaps as early as this summer.

Such an attack might take place before the November presidential election in an attempt to affect the outcome, the officials said.

Translation: Our crapola administration is losing popularity rapidly, and we need to raise the fear level in a desparate attempt to dupe people into either electing our figurehead chimp Bush into office for another 4 years or distract them so our second stolen election in a row gets less media coverage.

If I remember the CIA website correctly, the US provides Iceland with protection. ;)

I suggest you don't trust everything your administration tells you. You were misled about Iraq and the "war on terrorism." This is part of a general fearmongering push on the part of the White House. sCADKindaGUY, it's important to be on guard for terrorism, but most people who live in back woods do not need to buy duct-tape...

Then don't buy any;)

Anyway, I was not misled about Iraq, nor about the War on Terrorism. YOU may think you were, but it isn't Bush who is misleading you;)

sweet, just like the mafia. I suggest we start milking it for what it's worth: Instead of trying to make it seem that we invade for our own interests, just invade random countries unless they pay a "protection fee". We could pay off the national debt and no one would have to work, it would be great.
