Sosa Tested Positive In 2003

Sosa is supposedly 6' tall but if you ask me he looks more like 5'10" or so. I'm 6' even and when I saw him in Chicago the first thing I noticed was he appeared short. The guy is massive though, no doubt; the uniform really hides it well.

I think it's pretty obvious Sosa has been using performance enhancers - that in combination with the sprung bats we know he was using makes him a pretty formidable hitter - but in the end it's cheating. It's a shame because Cubs fans loved that guy and he betrayed them, the game and his team mates IMO.

At this point, it's probably better that the older, retired players just 'fess up right now. Trying to keep it hidden but have stuff like this leak out is a sure way to never get into the HoF. Of course, admitting it also majorly hurts your chances but I can see ten years from now the old steroid users will start getting in.

So he lied during the congressional inquiry? The DOJ takes that very seriously.

Yup, he's in deep sh!t like Clemens now.

Yep McGuire was the only smart one. I still don;t think he should be in the HoF, but he looks better now for at least not lieing.
