Hi guys!!! It's been a while since I posted, but I wanted to say that i'm back and the poetry juices are a-flowin' again!!

Much love to you all! Here's my latest, about common day occurrences - enjoy!

It seems like an eternity
Since you went inside.
Click, the door shut.
And you had your salvation.
While I,
I burnt and wept and writhed.
Hoping I could hold myself together, waiting for you.
The pain you gave me seemed for a moment, unbearable, uncontainable.
And then, my wait was rewarded.
There you were, a picture of calm, as unruffled as the ocean on a sunny day.
And it was my turn
To attain salvation.

I was inspired to write this poem as I waited in line for the bathroom.

I came into this thread all set and ready to ridicule a noob, but by golly that was a pretty good poem in light of its inspiration.

Kudos.

Same.

Was itching to rip into a rhyming noob poem.

I thought that poem was a bit of a whinging emo rant... then You told us your inspiration, and suddenly its genius!

Good work!

Is this from the Bible, John 3:16? or was it Paul 4:20?
