Bernie is smartly staying in the race as its looking increasingly like the wheels are coming off the Biden candidacy and he hasn’t secured the nomination yet.
 
Of course 78 year old Bernie Sanders, who has a history of heart problems IS "electable" and doesn't suffer from "Cognitive Decline"🙄 "nothing to see here!"

At this point I have little hope that anyone will be serious enough but someone like Bernie might use the bully pulpit to keep things on the front burner and have an EPA and other agencies get serious too.

Amazing that it looks like for the second time in a row, the Dems are about to field a candidate that half their own side cannot warm to... and the alternative candidate likely would have won if only the party members could set aside their donors interests and not cut the ground out from under said other candidate.

If Bernie 'would have won,' then why is he losing the primaries by nearly 3 million votes? Did the donors do that? No, the voters did. Should the Dems run the candidate who lost the primaries by millions of votes just because his supporters refuse to accept the results of democracy? Do you really believe that Biden voters will turn around and vote for Bernie if Bernie were to get the nom even after Biden wins by millions of votes? No, they won't, because that would be a rejection of a democracy. Just like it would have been a rejection of democracy in 2016 to have given the nom to Bernie after Hillary won the nom by some 4 million votes.
Bernie supporters need to quit blaming their rejection of democracy on donors, the DNC, and other stupid conspiracy theories. You either support democracy and the will of the voters, or you need to get the fuck out of the DEMOCRATIC party.

Your stupid scenario is to claim that winning the Primary equals winning the Election. 15% of the Electorate votes in the Primary, 50% Vote in the Election.

Even Biden Supporters have Low Enthusiasm for him, because he is a very weak Candidate. Trump OTOH has very high enthusiasm with his Base that make up 40ish% of the Electorate. A recent ABC Poll has Biden/Trump with just a 2% lead for Biden, Nationally. The only thing that Biden has going for him is Hatred of Trump, something that Democrats have, but ebbs and flows amongst Independents.

Biden needs to Inspire and Excite. He can't do it though. His Platform sucks, an appeal for Normalcy, aka, Not Trump. He has problems formulating complete sentences and meanders from thought to thought. Every so often he's aware he has drifted off, creating a cringe moment that even seasoned Reporters are left wondering what to do with.
 
I agree. It's one thing to poll people's opinions right now, before they are head to head. It's another once the filth starts when things ramp up. It's not unfair to say Biden has had some genuine moments of lack of mental acuity. That should be concerning in as much as it's a line of attack. Also, the sexual assault accusation. Imagine your politics being so gutter bound, that both candidates for President are rapists. Unbelievable!

Still if you choice is the two of them, obviously it's Biden over Trump. Trump is an outright madman bordering on dictator. Imagine how unrestrained a second term for him will be.

Still you'd think they could put forward someone, anyone better? Sanders if obviously better, but if not him, why not someone who can at least do an interview without losing his train of thought in the middle of it. It doesn't mean Biden is totally useless, Reagan was known to be off his gourd towards the end of things, but it is a solid line of attack on him. Why not get someone who can't be so easily attacked as being senile? Trump voters don't care about Trump's madness, it's a cult and nothing but fanatical support is what you can expect from them. But what about the people who are flexible and will decide the election?

Imagine if Biden has a moment during a debate, it will be solid chum to throw in the waters.

My 'stupid scenario' is to claim that, within a democratic system, the candidate who gets the most votes should be the winner. While you're just hellbent on ensuring Trump's re-election because Bernie can't win.

Thank you. It's been clear all along that Bernie's only path to the nomination was thru having a plurality of delegates in a brokered convention. If some of the other contenders throw in for him a win would have been entirely legit. Of course I'd vote for him under those circumstances. Hell, yes. Go Bernie!

But that's not what's happening. The truth is that Bernie lost his Mojo. How or why I really don't know but the votes simply didn't materialize. We're far enough into it that even if they do show up in the remaining contests his chances of surpassing Biden are slimmer than slim.

How do we differentiate the trolls, delusionists, agent provocateurs & fifth columnists from honest Bernie supporters? The honest ones tell us what's great about Bernie instead of tearing down Biden & the Democratic Party. If they don't want to follow democratic principles & majority within the Party to stand with the rest of us against the monstrosity we face then they can GTFO & quit pretending to be Democrats. Shee-it. I doubt they believe in democracy at all.

If you spent as much time figuring out what it takes to beat Trump as you do Labeling People, you would see why Biden can't Win. The singular thing you claim to want to do.

If you want to know what is great about Bernie, everyday he is saying what is great about him.

Biden would no problems whatsoever with winning if Bernie supporters would commit to accepting the democratic results of the primaries, and 'voting blue no matter who." But they won't, they'd rather Trump be re-elected.

Most Bernie supporters will support Biden, but that's not enough to win the Presidency. You need people to go Vote and even Biden supporters may not be motivated enough to do so after all is said and done. You need Enthusiasm and Biden no longer can provide that.

You remind me a lot of the Ralph Nader backers in 2000. Nader ran as a third party claiming there was no difference between GWB and Gore and sucked out enough votes to insure GWB's election, our entry into the Iraq debacle and the 2008 as direct results. If you and yours are likewise as successful the end results will be far, far worse.

Outside of the already committed faithful, Bernie attracts absolutely no enthusiasm, especially among unaffiliated voters. The Donald will steamroll him for sure.
