Sony 2.4 cordless w/answering machine - $69.94 at Target

Went to four different stores in Louisville, KY area and finally found last one on display, no box, no manual, no battery, no power supply. The manager offered it to me for $46.00 as is. I said OK and bought a second handset for $39.00, LOL Now if I could only find a manual for it.... Can anyone help?
 
kroq - I've had a Sony cordless that I bought in '90, and still use it. I've only had to change the battery at most twice.

I was able to find the Sony 2.4GHz w/AM on clearance, along w/an xtra handheld...not a bad deal. Haven't fully tested both phones yet...no one to call. 🙁
 
circuit city has the base model(same but no answering machine) for 85 bucks with a free extra handset (60bucks in value), bought one yesterday.

does anybody know if the walkie talkie function work FAR away from the base unit? like if i take it 20miles away, the 2hansets will be close to each other, but not to the base unit
 
acutally if you buy any of the 4 models in this quadrastation series, you will get a free handset right away at circuit city
