James Taylor - Shed A Little Light
Lighthouse Family - High

Here's a song I wrote, well sort of:

from www.yahoogle.com

Sung to the Tune of "DAY-O" By Harry Belefonte.

Day-o, day-ay-ay-o
Daylight come and me see the plane
Day, he sad day, he sad dad, he sad day,
He sad day, he sad day-ay-ay-o
Daylight come and me watch the flame

Think all night on a drink a'rum
(Daylight come and me wan' my gun)
Watch the news till thee morning come
(Daylight come and Osama on the run)

Hey, Mr. Taliban, giva me Bin Laden
(Midnight come and we bomb your home)
Hey, Mr. Taliban, giva me Bin Laden
(Midnight come and we bomb your home)

cruise missle, smart bomb, carpet bomb, Boom!
(Daylight come we invade kabul)
M1, A1, HumVees, Too!
(Nighttime come and you're under new rule)

I know it's silly, but some poeple seem to like it.

On September 13, 1986, a battalion consisting of electronic equipment and live musicians was deployed on one side, in and above the Hudson River in the entire area of Battery Park in lower Manhattan in New York City. The purpose: a gigantic concert in commemoration of the centennial of the Statue of Liberty. With the statue as a backdrop, illuminated by spectacular fireworks and coruscating laser displays, the concert was electronically composed and conducted by Japan?s synthesiser genius, Isao Tomita. He specified it was ?A prayer dedicated to the renovated statue as symbol of world peace for all mankind.? To emphasize this, musicians from the United States, the Soviet Union, China, and Japan were brought together, and the concert was produced by British entrepreneur, Danny O?Donovan.

I thought I would share a segment of this outstanding performance with my fellow Anandtecher's tonight. :)

This selection is an excerpt that includes Strauss, Also sprach Zarthustra, Gustav Holst, The Planets, Mars, the Bringer of War, and Debussy, The Engulfed Cathedral.

Enjoy!

Cheers!

My mood tells me that maybe Motorhead's - Die You Bastard would reflect how I feel. However, I really haven't cared for any music for the past several days. But, I have overloaded on lots of talk radio. I'm very interested in hearing how America really fells and radio has proven to be a good medium in getting this out.
