So how is this any different than birds gathering twigs to make a nest? We don't make a big deal out of that.

Those things are obviously a lot smarter than we give'em credit for. Scary, actually. :Q

most creatures are smarter than we give credit for. And we aren't as smart as we give ourselves credit for.
Odd how that works ay? 😉

They just showed this video on our local news station. Little bastards had me cracking up as the one scurried away with half a shell.

Crafty little bastards. I await their next move.

You know, I have never been religious and think it is pretty much a bunch of crap intended to control the masses......but it is people who think like yourself that probably have a lower IQ than that octopus.

I agree 100% on what you just said. I am pretty dumb. 🙁

"You've got two empty 'alves of coconuts and you're living in them."
"What?"
"Where'd you get them?"
"I found them."
"What?! Found coconuts in the ocean? Coconuts are terrestrial, not aquatic."
"They could have been carried"
"What? A bass carry a coconut? Why, just to stay afloat, a bass needs to beat its fins 43 times every second. It couldn't carry a coconut"
"Maybe it was a large mouth bass"
"Oh, well maybe a large mouth bass, but not a sea bass. That's my point."
"But, large mouth bass live in fresh water."
"Oh, right."
"Suppose two sea bass.."

:beer;
