That said, please *think* before you post OP. You are an idiot for blaming the drunk guy who did the right thing. I sure as hell hope a dumbass like you doesn't convince even one person to not do what the drunk guy did. I am also curious to hear how old you are.
Read the thread before you make such remarks.
Don't know if he [the drunk] could have done anything... maybe called 9-1-1.Originally posted by: Captante

It really sucks that your friends were killed & I'm sorry for your loss, but you can't blame the guy in the back seat regardless of why he was there.

Two of my sisters friends from college died in a car accident this past weekend. Both of them were seniors with job offers. Not that it matters now, but it shows they could of had a life until their drunk friend called them for a ride.
Their friend was too drunk to drive and calls them at 3 am to pick him up from the bar. they left and picked him up. On the way back there was construction, without much alert, he tried to dodge a sign, went into the ditch, hit a tree, no seat belt, front passengers died. the drunk bastard was untouched(in the back seat), and too fucking drunk to do anything.
I think they were going fast enough to not be able to dodge a sign safely, but still.
It is still sad, I personally did not know the guy. I have heard a lot about him... anyways.
I felt like sharing this with you. I don't how the drunk guy could live the rest of his life knowing he had something to do with his 2 friends deaths.
God bless them.

This story is backwards. The drunk guy, acting responsibly, asked his friends for a ride home so that he wouldn't be on the road while drunk but is receiving the blame for the friends driving too fast and not wearing a seatbelt? Although tragic, I don't see how any of the blame could be placed on the drunk friend.

Uhhh, so the drunk guy acts responsible then it is his fault?
I feel bad, I honestly do... but you need to take another look at what happened here.
Also, read the thread.

Then don't post about it if don't want people to respond in that way.

You're just being a dick. When you loose someone close, you don't sit there and say yeah they deserved it. The drunk guy survived, so it is easy to make it sound like it was his fault.... not that its right. And I am 24. Shit happens, they are dead.

Yeah I agree. But you can always say they would of never been on the road if he didn't call.
Sorry about your friends but "friend who left drunk at bar" could've been easily been replaced with "friend who's car got wrecked" or something similar. Don't blame the guy for asking friends for help.
