yes, this story is backwards. all involved were doing the right thing. It's sad, but the friends should have been wearing seatbelts. Can't really blame the drunk guy for this, being that he seems to be the most responsible. Can you imagine that guilt that he already feels.

Also...in response to "how did the Drunk guy exit the wreck unscathed?" This happens frequently, as intoxication tends to allow one's body to go limp in these accidents. If you're sober and aware of an impending accident, the most immediate response is to go rigid and brace yourself, which leads to more injuries. Intoxication slows reaction time and muscle control, and ironically enough, helps you into a state more readily suited to absorb the damage in such accidents.

No I can't imagine the guilt really, awful feeling I am sure. Man... I feel really bad for his parents and brother. I guess he is not doing well, no were to be found since the accident. He just took off somewhere.

Weeeeeeeakkkkkkk

Learn to change! Learn from your mistakes! Don't make sad excuses.

Dude if you read the thread. I did say that was my initial reaction, not knowing the drunk guy, etc... but some people here just like to get intense.

Thats a pretty bad initial reaction. Why would you want to or feel the need to blame someone? It was a tragedy. Oh, and a lot of web browsers have spell check...
