Someone stole my friend rims/tires

She woke up today and found all 4 17 inches gone. The two jack they use still laying around.

She has a 1999 Civic SI. Everything is stock but the rims. I'll post pic later.

Did they steal the spokes and the hubs too? I can't see how useful a rim would be without the rest of the wheel.

That's what you get for buying a Civic, putting fancy wheels on it, and parking it outside. Sad, but that's the way it works.

That sucks, but she's lucky they didn't steal the car too. Isn't that generation of the Si a thief magnet in general?

Second question

Were these new wheels purchaced for their wider stance and greater traction or are they just "pretty?"

I love the wheels that have no integrity to them at all or require tires less than an inch from the wheel to the tread... You coudn't possibly be better equiped for potholes or hairpin turns when your wheel just buckles and destroys itself 😀

Bingo. They're awesome cars and definitely hot targets. They're worse then Integras IIRC.
