Of course there was a thaw in our relationship with DPRK, we basically gave them what they wanted and asked for nothing but a vague statement on disarmament that amounts to 'we will think about it.' The language of the deal does not even contain a requirement that they stop doing missile tests while we negotiate.

This whole things reeks of a fire fighter putting out the fire he started himself. Except he didn't put it out, he just told us it was put out and that we should believe him.

He showed up to a fire he inflamed and claimed the fire will be put out in the future, maybe. Now give me total credit.

Ill give it a shot... NK is not a nuclear threat anymore because.... Because nuclear is really not as dangerous as we once thought. See Japan? Can hardly notice + Japan is an ally now, so if anything nuclear bombs brings people together.. for happy times.. Yay! GO NUCLEAR!!

Since the nuclear threat is over why are we still sending people to North Korea??

Why is Pompeo wasting his time?

I dunno, I think it rather hilarious every time Trump preemptively sugarcoats his "accomplishments" that hasn't happened yet and on numerous occasions never did. Same with his allegations about Obama spying on him, with his losing the popular vote because millions of illegals voted, etc. It puts Trump squarely in a new "paranoid-schizo-visions-of-grandeur" category of mental illnesses, and he's our POTUS fer cry'in out loud. That must also be hilarious to those supporters of his who voted for him purely out of spite for those who actually dared to put a black man in THEIR White House. Yeah, they just go berserk every time Trump does/says something that gets the world rolling their eyes over his antics. I'm thinking that phrase "there he goes again" must be repeated millions of times every day since he got elected.

I guess it somehow miraculously works well with other supporters of his, but damn doesn't Trump realize what an idiotic dolt he appears to be to everyone else?

But then Trump has made it clear by now that "everyone else" just don't matter to him so that old thingy about "I don't mind 'cuz you don't matter" really does come into play here.
