Someone help me find that famous jazz music which is always sampled in rap music? *EDIT* SAMPLE INCLUDED

uh... you could start by giving us some rap pieces? I've never heard Miles Davis sampled in rap.

For the record: Miles Davis played trumpet, not sax. 😉

I'm almost certain that horn sample was'nt lifted from a jazz album, it probably came from an old 70's funk or soul record. But I could be wrong try looking for it at this site. It's called the sample faq and basically you can look for the artist and the song you're interested in and the faq will match up all the samples that song used. It's pretty cool I've branched out into a lot of jazz albums by just playing around on that site.
