I apologize for this post in advance if the original post proves true...

In my first post, I tried to give the benefit of the doubt, however, with so many dissenters, I'm forced to wonder. NicklasReugen, why haven't you defended your friend when so many say him nay? Can you clear any of this up?

This guy is so full of sh!t. It's funny that he "dies" right before he's supposed to get Luk the money or a new monitor. On top of this he has told the biggest bunch of lies on this forum and you people believe him left and right. I was one of the first people to call this guy and ass and a liar (around when he claimed to be developing that Athlon+Rambus motherboard to compete in the server market in europe)and I'm not the last.

Any of you that believe this sh!t, come up with one person that has met him and verified in person that he was who he said he was. Not what he told you, not what someone else told you, what is verfied from a real 3rd party with no motivations. It's my belief and has been for a LONG time that you needed scuba gear around this guy because it was so deep.
 
unless Niklaus come out and back up his post, this will go down as BS to me.
after being suckered once, memorial web site and all, I am disinclined to take everything at face value.

even so, those who KIA in Afghan defending the world's freedom from terrorist will get my respect and sympathy. This will include all the Americans, British and "Patrick" if it is indeed true.

If this is true, Patrick's family and friends have my sincere condolences.

However, I'm just wondering, how come the US never came out with an announcement that soldiers have been killed in action? The only ones I've heard about were accidents involving tanks and 2 missing sailors on an interdicted Iraqi ship.

If Patrick was indeed killed, I'm afraid there may be an even bigger conspiracy involving covering military losses. If I remember correctly, the Taliban did say they killed over 100 US soldiers which we denied.

 
It's quite tragic how everyone's faith and trust of others has been bruised since the flossie incident.

What's even more sad is that there are individuals out there who are still challenging our good faith trust.

I hope this isn't another lie...at the same time, I hope Patrick isn't dead...

Allow me to tell a TRUE story:
We have this guy at work-(driver), he arrived at work 3 weeks ago and announced to his supervisor that he has been chosen to help "delta force members" in Afganistan. He looked the guy directly into his eyes and said he had been chosen to go on a secret mission-(unbelieveable). Then mentioned he was going to tell the owner of the company so people would know why he had too leave suddenly in the coming weeks. (well he managed to stop him from doing that) Some people are so delusional, THEY truly believe these crazy stories... (BTW- he still works here and hasn't mentioned his secret delta force mission again, yet)

As I recall, dennilfloss created a "person" on here that everyone got to "know" and care for quite a bit.
Then that person "died"leaving a family stricken, as well as the people on here that had gotten to know her.
There was even a Memorial Web Site set up!
Eventually the truth came out and dennilfloss has been history ever since!

It was quite a while ago. He made a up woman, posted as her, provided pics (which turned out to be of a soft core porn star, IIRC). Then, he said she was killed, made a memorial site. Several users here thought it was BS (this is not the place to post pics of a soft core porn star and claim to be them... chances are many members have seen them before in their videos). Anyways, many of these users who came forward with their suspicions were ostacized for stating their opinions. IIRC, Red Dawn was among those that were ostracized for his suspicions. He has since apologized, though he is currently banned for his deceptions.

Dennilfloss is still the #8 poster here at AT in terms of post count.

Well, even if he became a citizen, I don't see how the military would let someone in the American Special Forces when they were in the Swedish Special Forces previously.

I work with a guy who lost his military security clearance just because he married a Korean woman.

If it's true, I'm sorry for his children....

But there's a LOT of gaping holes here in the story. If he died, there's an obituary somewhere. If there is any truth to this story, we will find out soon. If we never hear anything more, obviously this was a sick joke.

Palm and I didn't get along, btw. He was a liar who would say such rediculous things as "im a scientist, i'm my own proof" when asked how he knew that marijuana shrunk testicles. That's what I remember him as, a big mouth.

On the other hand he appeared to be very helpful to the guy who got ripped off on ebay.

I also find it suspicious that NicklasReugen has not posted to defend his friend yet. Also, in light of his claim yesterday to be able to "shoot the head of a match off at 1000 meters", and the statement that he was in "the second delta force", I am also now in the doubters camp. If NicklasReugen's post is true, then I offer my sincere condolences and apologies. If not, then NicklasReugen should be banned, just like Dennilfloss.
 
LOL I believe Red Dawn is correct.....

I came to the conclusion ages ago that NicklasReugen and PCResources/Patrick Palm were the same person...PCResources was his first alias and the Nick Reugen came along when he got into a bind to support his "buddy".

We had a few words in the past, and some lengthy PM sessions....

I too have heard about his super secret company...development plans....team of lawyers...and all this other fabricated mumbo jumbo.

IMHO this is just a ruse.....just something to stir up trouble.
 
You know, i never believed a single thing PCResources said... even when he was helping that guy with the ebay monitor, i was extremely skeptical. But hearing all this now, it sounds like BS to me as well.

The fiasco was even reported in The Register here. Hmmm, have the mods verified the holes in Nick's story now that this thread is unstickied?

My brother and mother still live near there, in Braintree MA--I am surprised that you actually called there and asked...

PC and I got into it pretty hard a year ago and I called him on that, asked him if that was "his" company...he said no and I let it go at that...not soon after I saw that he was full of it and a complete waste.

Not to mention his pathetic website....which I must say he has improved since the last time I saw it.

Personally I think he should be IP banned for pulling a stunt like this, getting so many to believe that he actually gave his life...this is just wrong and demented.
 
This sh1t is too funny. I forgot about Patrick's "expertise" on marijuana and some of the other crap he spewed. I got into a couple arguments with him in the past, calling his bluff. I never really trusted him, and now it's all falling into place.
