Someone very dear to me has given his life for the safety of this nation, my childhood friend has died.

The thing is, he left behind his sun and his daughter, i know i should be the one to tell them, and i will do so, this is very hard though.

I don't even know why i am writing this, i am not looking for help or anything.

I just want to thank all of you who have been a friend of my best friend, Patrick

thats so sad... I am sorry for your loss, and his children's loss.. I wish there was more that could be done, but I offer my prayers for the two children, and all of Patrick's loved ones...
 
He was in one of the first troops, they were not supposed to stay.

I have lost my best friend, but his children have lost their father, i have to be strong for them, but i feel like $hit right now.

I'm very sorry; I'm glad that those kids have someone like you to tell them how many people appreciate what their dad did.
 
maybe i'm crazy, but was he a member of the forums? i seem to recall somebody by that name, though i'm not sure if he was in the military...
 
I'm sorry to hear that someone has died. I have checked the news sites and it has not been reported yet.

Don't jump to conclusions that it is PCRecources. There are many AT members who are serving their country. We do not know yet and speculation as to who it was does not help.
 
Yes, it is PCResources. I was just told that he's gone now. I'm so sorry, Niklas. Patrick was a very good man and he gave his life for his country.
 
Last time I heard from it.. WTC happened and he posted somewhere here that he's leaving to Afghanistan.

I was wondering what was going on and read this tonight.. 🙁

We disagreed in so many things but we respected each other a lot. This is so sad.. 🙁

I thought he had a computer related business? How was he a part of the military?

He'll be missed.

I know for a fact that Nicklaus and Patrick work in the same company and have been good friends for a long time. It is not a speculation.

I remember this very well because they were interested in offering me a job.
 
PCResources?? oh man that guy helped explain computer stuff to me. DAMNN. Sorry... I wish I could offer more than a prayer.🙁
