I don't know, I mean if he was an incredibly fast typer, what would it matter? But not having that information I would have to say he is probably of normal typing speed. It's also possible that he doesnt do that each and every time? I doubt the observations were scientifically done (rate of type, amount of times typed this way, keyboard type, proxy server settings, browser used, O/S used, hotkeys being used, etc...) Maybe he does differently at home? Maybe he thought someone in the class might observe his actions and proclaim that "
http://" was necessary abruptly. Why are we even annylizing this guy? Did some gratification come from putting this guy down? Whatever gets you through the day...
BTW hitting CTRL+Enter does not work on all browsers and even the latest IE doesnt always have the feature enabled. Here at working using IE6.0 and higher, that feature is disabled by default on our images, for what purpose, I am not sure. I would give someone the benefit of the doubt till proven otherwise that they may just be used to not using such a key combination... Like Mozilla users or etc...
Also, knowing how to use CTRL+Enter doesnt make one an expert, or knowing the need for
http:// being unnecessary for that matter.
For those that havent gotten it yet, search for Sarcasm somewhere in there....
