Some polls now have Romney ahead.

Wasn't Rove still in the white house during the 2006 midterms? Blabbermouth Schultz has made some predictions about Florida recently....

Not at all. Why would you say that?
So you're saying that Rasmussen is nearly 10 points off in the party affiliation poll along with Gallup and we will have close to 2008 party ID turnout?

The evidence suggests that these two polls are pretty accurate, what evidence do you have that they are wrong by so much?

I didn't say the other thing you are suggesting either.

538 has obama now at 80.8% updated today, back to where it was weeks ago pre first debate more or less.

I thought he had crept up to 90 pre-debate? Either way tough to say he doesn't have 'momentum,' whatever that means, with the Christie/Sandy coverage not yet baked into all of the polling.

I don't even understand the question. And I certainly don't think you're in a position to make demands.

You know there are more than two possibilities in this whole thing right?

Because you're only offering two options when there are many many more...

Take a stand!

Okay.

You're an ignorant fool, who has demonstrated amply over the last week that you have absolutely no idea how polls work, and is simply desperate to hang on to any small cherry-picked snippet of hope you can find among the polling so you can convince yourself that your guy is going to win.

Well, I cast my vote today for Romney. Not that it really matters, I think Obama has it locked up, but I'm in Ohio so I wanted to get my vote in. I find it difficult to believe that these two are the best this country has to offer in terms of leadership, but yet here we are, forced to choose between two bad options.

Just don't tell anyone why you voted the way you did.

I know that if this guy and I were in the same room he wouldn't be so insulting.

I also know that you continually jump the gun and assume furthest extremity of every point I make and then make a complete ass of yourself by blasting the strawman that you have constructed. I'm sure you've done that here yet again.

How about you address my points instead of making comments about me personally? If not then fuck off.

The polls coming in have pretty much 2008 level turnout in their samples. I agree that there are gradations but we aren't really seeing that from the polls coming in.

The Intrade number is a bit lower (~66%) so if you're that confident about Romney's chance, you could make a killing.
So if somebody went and put a million dollars on Romney would that make it more likely or less likely that he would win or no effect?

If you and I were in the same room, I would have politely made an excuse to go and talk to someone else after your first couple of uneducated, biased and flat out stupid comments about the election.

But it's the Internet. So instead, I've devoted literally dozens of posts trying to engage you, providing links to polls, and attempting to explain the flaws in your reasoning. I gave you the benefit of the doubt when many others weren't. After all that, you're just repeating the same bogus claims, and on top of it being sarcastic and making moronic comments about "Saint Silver" and so forth.

You've also been pretty damned insulting in your own right.

And now you've dug up a picture of me and my son off my photography site. What the point of this was, I have no idea. Maybe to intimidate me or something. (It didn't work.)

Anyway, it's obvious that I should have just done here what I would have done in real life, and left you to wallow in your ignorance. I guess I learn slow, but I do eventually learn, so I'll just put you on the list now.

I can tell you if you and I were in the same room I would look you in the eye and tell you to go fuck yourself.

I may buy you a beer after and try and talk some sense into you. But I'd have no problem telling you what I think.

Well Charles, I'm sorry it didn't work out.

We'll know if I'm full of shit on Tuesday. All of your "parting insults" are just the sort of class I'd expect.

For the record I didn't realize that was your son. I didn't really look closely, I'll edit that out because our kids don't need to be involved in our internet dick measuring contest. So I apologize for that part of it.

No worries, cute kid, lame attempt by buck to intimidate, usually that just means they are pussies. With fragile E-Peens
