Some pictures from my tahiti trip

yes, that picture is of the overwater bunglow we stayed in at Bora Bora.

We were at Pearl Resort at Moorea and Bora Bora. I will have more feedback about the resort and islands later.

Water was absolutely clear and lagoon at Pearl Resort in Moorea was about 2-3 blocks in length of the beach. So you could basically walk that far in waist high clear water.

so what would you do differently if you went back to tahiti?

more time on bora bora? more time on moorea?

what activities did you do?

i'm planning a trip there so it's good to have the advice of someone who went (rather than a travel agent...)

 
Activities in Bora Bora were a lot more expensive than in Moorea.

I liked Moorea much better even though we didn't have over water bunglow there and the logoon and beach were considerably smaller at our resort(Pearl Beach). If I go back I will probably live at sharaton in Moorea. The lagoon and beach over there are a lot bigger.

Pearl Beach Resort in Bora Bora was very nice but I was a little disappointed with service and attitude of the people. Resort is beautiful but it was on a Island on it own (off of the Main Island). So it was hard getting around. If you like being stuck at just the resort than its the best resort. Logoon as you can see in pictures was out of this world. Food and activities were very expensive in Bora Bora. We decided to do just a Submarine Dive at Bora Bora (I can't do scuba because of previous ear problems). That dive was $200 per person. I have some pictures from that and I will post them later.

I never saw a native polynesian woman topless and most were kinda bigboned. 8 out of 10 women seemed topless at Sharaton beach in Moorea 🙂 ofcourse all of them tourist and seemed attractive.

Nope taking their pictures would have meant an abrupt end to my honeymoon 🙂
 
i've been thinking about taking my girlfriend to tahiti, but i checked the prices on Sheraton Moorea--

$993 a night for over the water bungalow! :Q
 
DDDUUDDEEE!!! I am so jealous of you man!!!!!

i think i've told you before, but i eventually plan to go to bora bora when I go on my honey moon years down the road. i really want to go there asap, but the price is just too much to handle for a regular vacation. i also am worried that if i go it will rain for the days i'm there 🙁 which would really suck.

so how was the trip in bora bora? i saw the pics of la meridian hotel and just fell in love with that place. the overwater bungalo is just so beautiful! the pics are amazing man! thanks!
