The Democrats.

Would you like it if someone heard one Republican said he was happy those prisoners got raped and abused, and then I went around saying, "that's the Republicans."

You are guilty of over-generalizing.

PS you may want to look at the forum. There are 100's of unique posts cheering. This isn't one guy trolling in...

And this is a relatively mainstream democratic website, as mainstream as moveon.org is. If mainstream is the word.

You cannot be seriously suggesting that 100 people on an internet site are representative of the Democratic party. And I'm not going to be quick to accept that a site with "underground" is mainstream. Sounds like they pride themselves on being anything but if they have "underground" in their name.

Um, try reading again what I said?

Edit: maybe it's my crappy public school grammer.

May WJC live as long as Reagan, but with his (possessive, Clinton's) health

Speaking of class and all...

"I don't remember him ever using those words."

Thanks Gaard, I always wanted a "caboose" following me around.

I had not read the sole source report that you were so proud of finding. Get a life, get over it or not. It's rather revealing how you keep trotting that one line out.

I don't think I did. He would like to see Clinton live to be 93 but with Reagan's health as of late...

Doesn't sound like I could interpret it any other way. Not a very nice thing to wish on someone 40 or so years away from 93. I don't think him saying "his health" was referring to WJC having good health, but in fact having Regans health. Could be wrong? Considering we are talking about Clinton I would tend to think I am right ;)

I take it back, maybe it's YOUR crappy public school grammar.

PS try taking threads in order of posting instead of rushing ahead to defend your foot in mouth.

PPS if I had intended insult, it would have read:

May WJC live as long as Reagan, AND with his health.

At least that's my grammar understanding. Maybe some English Major Berkley liberal can straighten this out ;)

Yep - I was right. You misread his post. I have a few ideas on why that would have happened but I'll keep them to myself:)

Oh I think you can see that by the way he phrased it, "HIS" could have been interpreted both ways ;) But I have some ideas why one would choose such wording. I'll keep them to MYSELF :p

Wow, yet another thread claiming the majority of liberals are dancing in the streets over Reagans death. I have a question for the OP:

What's the use in posting a link to this forum? To show that some liberals aren't classy therefore the majority must be? One up manship? It's this kind of crap that that makes the board what it is, a sandbox for everyone to fight in. If you have a problem with what those people on their are saying, take it up with them next time, instead of showboating this kind of crap over here.

On one hand, I really appreciate that statement, because it shows we have a modicum of respect for each other around here. But then you bust out with this . . .

I stand by this statement:

A large and growing segment of the Democratic party.

. . . And I think you really need to deal with your sweeping generlizations. Like the other day when you claimed that all liberals lacked morals. I hardly think a "large and growing segment" of the democratic party are celebrating Reagan's death.

hey if I were them I would be pretty pissed too, look at their last two election cycle offerings for presidents...Gore, and now Kerry...both losers.

I am just sitting back and waiting for both of the Klintons to keel over :) now that'll be a hoot :)

I was posting it because it was sent to me in an email and after I read through it I couldn't believe the garbage I was reading. That thread is a sad, sad reflection on humanity. It is also a reflection on SOME Democrats but not all.

If you think I want this board to be a sandbox I suggest you do some reading:

First Thread

Second Thread

Look around....do some reading before you just assume and accuse.

Leave it to alchemize and his merry men of this forum to take the death of a great American and turn it into a topic to bash Democrats on. Have you lost all dignity?

 . :)

It's sad that some people take such glee in the death of a frail old man. It's also sad that some will exploit his death to attack Democrats. Though I largely disagreed with the man's politics, he was still a father, a husband, and decent human being loved by millions.

This is the time to show compassion and respect. There will be plenty of time to resume our regularly scheduled bickering. Until then, I'll say it again: rest in peace, Mr. President. Peace to your family as well.

So, does that mean you approve of the way those democrats are acting on that forum?

Yes it is truly a shame, that there are lowlifes out there who cant pay respect to a great president at his passing.

Thankfully the majority of America knows how to act during this time of mourning.

its like children.
stop this pointless name-calling.
it doesnt matter what party they are affiliated with, it doesnt make them an absolute representation of that group.
if one wants to believe that those people represent the democratic party, they will. and its people who are already out to smear them. its ignorant and masturbatory.

What actions are we talking about? They're just a bunch of fringe liberals exercising their right to free speech - tasteless as it may be.

In any case if we were to point out every little unethical thing Karl "bush's brain" Rove ever did not even poor Cad will find the time to defend him.

Grow up and move on. Give your neocon bretheren some reason for credibility.
