It's not as bad,but when I had only a few thousand on my G, a focking van from a lane next to me launched a huge rock, cracking my windshield.

I hope karma pays back tenfold.

Personally, that sounds like karma getting you back for something you did.

I love some of the item desciptions: Cracked glass.... I wonder why? Maybe because they broke it while lifting it out of a car....

I didn't notice the damage till i got closer and freaking freaked out and started running towards the direction the car turned to leave the parking lot but he was gone!!!!!

The thing that piss me off is that i parked in backward so my headlights were facing out toward the rest of the parking lot. so that everyone could see it and it was under a light pole. But they did this and no one heard or saw anything???? ppl were parking and walkin to church!!!!!!

SO SAD :(

EDIT1: Thanks everyone i hope the fvcker gets what he deserves.

EDIT2: Just got back from the body shop it will cost $2334.80 :Q but the somewhat good news is, since one new 2004 headlight assembly cost them $795 and I can get 2 new 2006 headlight(has xenon projectors and looks much nicer) for $929.99 and just pay the difference.

Don't you have hit and run insurance as part of your car insurance plan?

Someone dented my car. Nobody was around apparently (busy shopping center). The dent cost me $500 (my deductible)...still alot cheaper than paying the whole thing out of pocket which would have been $2500.

Man. Talk about wrong place and wrong time. Headlight stealing is crazy "on crack" stuff. I've only had a $40 radio antenna stolen from my car....

hmm.. thats unfortunate, $500 is still a lot of money, considering none of this was your fault!

If it were me, I probably wouldnt have had insurrance paying for anything (wouldnt want my rates to go up), assuming that everything was still functional i woulda just left it, lol.

Sorry this happened to you.... This is one of reasons on my list of reasons for not having a newer/nice car...

I think if I paid $$$ for a newer/nice car and somebody screwed it up...broke into it etc.... I would just feel like crap....

I'd been thinking about getting something different but I think I'll just stick with my 1997 Buick Century until it falls apart (might not be that far off hehe)....
I guess I'd still be pissed if something happened to my car but heck $1000 of damage is pretty mucha 1/3 of what my car is worth....

BTW I refer to my car as "the grandma".....

Oh and I'm not crapping on the OP for having a nice car...and do feel bad that this kinda stuff happens...
