Are those cards transferrable? Maybe he could have sold them for a discount

Did you contact the police? It should be easy for them to track this person down seeing as she's making purchases every minute of the day...

I talked to the fraud dept at the CC company and they said they would work everything out. Its my company's corporate card and they have been advising me on what to do.

No. Mgt told me to let them handle it.

I'm sure it wouldn't be too difficult to find out who did it.

yea dude. im VERY careful with my CC. always get it back. last night they were taking a bit too long at the restaurant. i was getting a bit uneasy....so i walked up to the register. but it all turned out ok because the register ran out of paper...so they couldnt print out my receipt. hence the delay

wow, this thought has never crossed my mind. I guess I've been fortunate to go to restaurants with honest employees. I check my CC statement though every month to make sure I recognize every charge.

What will really suck is if the company decides to just write it off, and the credit card company can't be bothered with tracking down someone for around $1000 in fraudulent charges. Maybe the cashier has done this before and realizes that companies and CC companies don't bother wasting their time on small-time fraud (as opposed to many thousands of dollars)
