Well just get a couple rakes and leave them in your yard. Might not have a lot of luck hitting one but cant really sue you for having them just sitting out there. Another side benefit is if you scare him off with a gun there is a chance he will find another one and club himself in the face.

Did some tire damage to a lawn.... Might work for you.

Cement-core fence. Looks like wood, totals any car that hits it, and is perfectly legal and the homeowner is not responsible for the damages to the car.

Have a house around here that had the exact same problem with a couple HS students. Only took one totalling their car for them all to stop.
