Some ah heck is making circles in my lawn with an Auto!

I have stayed up through the late hours of the night watching for him. It has reoccured many times. I have a rather large plot of land in my area. I have had to place new grass down where the previous was destroyed and as soon as it is completed, he returns with his vehical and makes those concentric circles that destroy my lawn. What can i do to my yard to make him regret driving his vehical over it? As you people say, i need to "booby trap" it. I have seen your creative ideas to get rid of the soda theif, how can i get rid of this grass killer.

2x4 + Nails = perfect revenge

Some of the nails sticking down (to hold it in the ground), some sticking up..

Put it out at night, take it back out in the morning (if you have people or animals that might walk there)

Make some caltrops with nails. Should be relatively easy with a vice grip and some pliars. Or 2 pairs of pliars for that matter.

I recall a 60 Minutes back when there was a coal mine strike down in SW Virginia and they showed some of the union guys making those things to throw under the coal trucks. It looked pretty simple and was very effective.

The problem I see is that the tire might simply bury the caltrop... You could bury 2x4's with nails painted green or black in an X shape in the area they are making the rings. This is likely to be more effective, however people casually walking would be liable to hurt themselves.
