God was bored and pressed the random shooting in the head during church button just to see what happens next.

This is almost as ironic as that one time it rained on my wedding day.

Yea, wasn't getting the irony comment. It's not like that gun safety instructor who accidentally shot himself a few years back, while he was giving a presentation on gun safety.

There's no irony here.

Also. People shouldn't own guns, shit like this wouldn't happen, this one one of the examples of a good counter argument to the pro gun stance "OH But knives are OK are they?"... yes. This wouldn't have happened with a knife.

Moronic gun owner needs an !@# whooping and charges filed.

You treat the gun as if it is loaded, always.

I'm going to guess that the irony the OP was talking about was that the guy shot his GF.

Hope she pulls through.

How the hell do you forget about a round in the chamber? HOW? Take out the magazine, rack the slide a few times, make sure there's no round, and then you can hand the gun over to someone to see with the slide back and open.

It's not even that. I don't even own a gun and I know to always treat them like they're loaded. Don't point them somewhere that you wouldn't want to put a bullet.

They walked away from the crowd in a recreation room at Grace Connection Church and into a closet.

Who goes into a closet with another man to show him their gun? Maybe they came out of closet in more ways than one.

lol, so basically, the 2nd amendment nuts want guns in all places because in their imaginations there is some psycho just around the corner who might commit mass murder.

but in reality what happens is this. An accident like accidents always happen. except someone is likely going to die.

Yeah just the other week I dropped a knife and it flew through a wall into the head of my girlfriend in the next room, it's so easy to do damn it.

I'm sorry to hear that :rose:
I'm just saying this is the reality of carrying guns in public places.
Yes because the thousands upon thousands of us who do carry have this happen almost daily right? You're paranoid

The guy was a licensed security officer. Do you think security and police officers shouldn't have guns?

it takes effort to carry a gun around. It's a good 5 pounds or so, right? TO justify this inconvenience while going in public places, you have to imagine that you might need to use it. which is why the pro-gun people talk about worst case scenarios to justify their carrying around a weapon in public.

A girl got shot in church. The gun should not have been allowed in church to begin with. There actually are laws against guns in public places like churches, but the gun lobby has worked against them in recent years.
