I think its time to take care of these fools once and for all.

How about an alliance between the US, Russian, Indian and British Navies where they get together and take care of business.

What is wrong with our govt and military? We have spent trillions on gold-plated weapons systems like B-2 bombers, f-22 fighters, cruise missiles, nuclear weapons, etc..
But we can't stop pirates armed with machine guns and RPGs?

As someone pointed out earlier, this is a perfect opportunity to train seal teams and such.
Storm every pirated ship and dispatch the pirates. No mercy.

This is how terrorist states are created, when better countries ignore the threat, and allow it to fester.

IMO, that story deserves its own thread.

The Russians have begun to escort ships off Somalia's cost. It is only one missile frigate, I'm not sure if they have any more warships in the area or if they are sending more.
