I'll get one when they work the problems and I can get the premium bundle for $300.

Premium bundles are getting close to $300, so I'll totally take one if someone wants to get me one, but if I'm gonna spend my own money on it, I'd rather wait until the hardware problems are all ironed out.

I haven't owned a console(although I've played) since the original Nintendo.

Just not much of a gamer. I have better things to do with my time, like talk to women. 😉

Ive already bought it used it for the last year and recently sold it to finance my ps3 purchase. I love the design of the xbox 360 controller. its an excellent system, no complaints about it at all. Im going to try the PS3 out, and if i dont like that I'm selling it and buying another xbox 360. (PS I dont like the design of the previous two playstations controllers and since this one is the same, I doubt Im going to like this one either)

My wife and I recently agreed that once we get an HD set, we're going for a sexbox360. I'm hoping to get her hooked on Gears of War. 😀

If there?s one game that has always led me to purchase a playstation 1 or 2, it would be the Gran Turismo series. I usually have a short attention span when it comes to games. However, I used to love playing the previous Gran Turismo games.

I look forward to the future GT release for the PS3, and i don't mean the HD respin.

There are not any good games on the X360, sorry. The PC still has the undeniable advantage.

That's why i sold mine. The only game i remotely liked playing was Far Cry.

I currently have an Xbox 360, while the library can seem weak at times there is much more to do with it. It functions as my HTPC, as well as my home sound system. I stream music from the internet and makes it nice for parties and such. I set it to a channel, and dont have to change it for the rest of the night. I also am sooooo addicted to the arcade games. They are fun, and reminds me of a simpler time when I used to go to the arcade and pump quarters into the machines for high scores.

Out of my friends I am the guy that has all the neat electronics, I don't mind that either, they come and play as they like. I will be honest that the PS3 does not interest me in the least. Assassins Creed looked really great, but now that it is going to come the 360, well PS3 looks like it is out of the picture.

I am a Halo fan, but not fanboy. I will probably pick up a copy when it comes out late next year, but I am not going to spend 100.00 dollars for the legendary edition that includes a helmet, thats right it comes with a helmet that is a replica of what the master chief wears....

I will be watching closely how the hd-dvd vs blu-ray fight goes. I am not ready to jump onto either bandwagon just yet. It is almost like beta vs vhs all over again. As with everything only time will tell, so we have to all wait and see.

Because I'm addicted to the PC. PC should be a drug and classified as a regulated substance.

I wouldn't have a whole lot of time for the console. Maybe when I was teenager and had time. Now everyday it seems like I get a whole hour of the day to myself and that's usually in the bathroom.

too expensive.

most consoles arent worth much to me, especially if im only going to play them so often. I average maybe 2 hours a week worth of video games currently. including computer games and console games.

no 300-400 dollar console is worth that little entertainment.

Te thing you have to think about though, perticularly with the 360, is that its not just a gaming platform. MS has turned the 360 into basically a home theater PC with Movie downloads, HD-DVD drive, etc. That is a big reason i will buy one when i have the money. The 360 offers much more functionality than just playing games.

You can build something much more awesome for the $500 it will cost to get a 360 and the HD-DVD drive. Consoles being passed off as home entertainment PCs is simply ludicrous. The ONLY reason to buy these consoles is for the exclusive games.

I think I may hold out for the 32" $500 set on black friday at best buy. Would the difference of 5" be worth it?

I don't. I sold it a month ago. 😉

Make that 5months ago for me. I didn't like the gaming line up at the time. LIVE is such a slick setup though.

I am going to wait until the premium system drops under three hundred dollars... and yes I know that I might be waiting a long time. I still do not have the original xbox and will inheret my younger brother's when he gets a 360.

Currently I am saving up to get an HDTV that would make it worth having a next gen console in the first place.

No $$ and really don't play games enough anymore to care.

Don't get me wrong, it looks like a great system and I'd probably get one one of these days if I had extra money to blow.

The current "mod" for 360 is better than a modchip. All you have to do is update the firmware on your dvd drive and you can play burnt games perfectly fine, online as well.
