Apparently you're a narrow-minded twit. So are all your friends.

So does this mean no bromance tonight? :brokenheart:

By no means. I've got a thing for narrow-minded twits. Shall we say eight-ish? I'll bring a nice bottle. :wine:

fried squid is the bomb. you don't know what you're missing. mmmmm and dried squid, even better

Soaked in butter milk for a day and then sauted with lemons and garlic will change your mind and convince you you're wrong.

calamari, to me (a non-seafood lover), has a delicate texture that could probably be replicated with other meats, but who would go to a fancy restaurant to order "fried chicken rings?"

Actually, i'm not completely accurate - it has a nice mix between crunchy/salty/and chewy. Imagine chicken with more of a chew to it.. It's not fishy at all, unless its crap quality.

It's not gross, but not like the most amazing thing ever. Still, give it a try - I think it's important to try everything so that you can make up your own mind

I mean, I hated sushi until i actually tried sushi. Then again, "cows tongue" sounded absolutely horrible and then I tried it.. It was absolutely disgusting, but at least I knew that for a fact instead of just being scared.

deep fried calamari then sauteed with some spicy peppers, to add a kick you can sprinkle some curry powder on it or saffron....yum

yeah it is. Thing is, I didn't realize what it was until someone told me. And then I started noticing the small little tails...and felt sick.
