I don't quite understand how you could do that walking, especially if you'd already been walking 6+ miles per day. Sure you didn't just pull a muscle reaching for or lifting something?
 
I remember when it started to hurt... it was at the end of the day and we were at Epcot waiting for the fireworks... the pain just slowly crept in and hurt every day after that. It would go away in the morning and then start to hurt after walking for 30 seconds even.

Maybe I was carrying something like a backpack that day, I don't quite remember.
