I don't. I haven't been following this very closely.

There's this thing called "the internet" and "google." Go try it out. You'll be amazed at the answers you'll get. It would have helped the OP - maybe it'll help you................................

Sigh. Your reticence to give a straight answer gives me some hint of the truth. But fine I'll figure it out myself.

Why should he extend patience and any other courtesy to you? Do you think you do that for others?

You have the easy means to learn something through the outlets that you will believe. That avoids him giving you a link that your reject out of hand for it's URL or whatever other bias you're bringing to things. I hope you found out by now and can come back with some insights.

It's an honest question. You gonna answer?

I don't. I haven't been following this very closely.

Why is the sky blue? It's an honest question. you gonna answer? I haven't been following this very closely.

Sigh, I'm unwilling to look something up that is clear public knowledge. Hence, whatever I believe must supersede whatever actual clear public knowledge exists.

Man, you conservatives are really, really fucking good at being useful idiots. And no, I won't explain that phrase.

Keep on keepin' on!

Here's the deal: Special counsel Robert Mueller has indicted 13 Russian nationals and three Russian entities for allegedly meddling in the 2016 presidential election, charging them with conspiracy to defraud the United States.

And remember, before these incitements came down Trump publicly stated again and again, no Russian involvement. Now the Muller team is investigating whether Trump or his campaign colluded with the Russians to do it. Think of the immense logic that they did because Trump also denies this. No collusion No collusion! Then factor in all the indications of collusion that have been discovered so far.

Republicans didn't just elect a an egotistical dick head, but a criminal thug willing to commit treason as well. And just think, Trump has a lawyer who has form letter non-disclosure agreement all ready to go when one of Trump's sex partners threatens to squeal, including don-disclosure of any children. Can we assume those are the ones that don't get aborted?

Yes, I do. I always try to answer questions made in good faith.

If you're going to claim something, you should be sufficiently informed of the details to answer questions about it. If not, you should have the decency to get that information when it is requested, not tell the requestor to find it himself.

Personally, I value him rather highly for his deep commitment to the value of life even if I don’t fully agree with all of his opinions on how that is best expressed.

For example I think he has a human invented belief that abortion is a sin when the the early Jews that founded Abrahamic religion had no such modern and I think incorrect notions that a fetus and a child are the same. They had a time period after birth before they gave a new born a name, before confirming individuality as a member or person.

I've always thought this investigation was simply a case of insurance.
Insurance for the republican establishment, an exit strategy should Trump do or was proven to have done something really really bad.
Face it, no one knew exactly how Trump would govern, or if he even could govern.
Republicans certainly had no idea who the real Donald Trump was or would be.
Democrats had an idea, even though many democrats thought Trump a liberal at heart.
A liberal sheep in republican clothing.
Independents had no clue who Donald Trump really was.
No one knew. No one for sure!
So when you are unsure of what might happen, fearing the worse of the worse, you buy insurance for protection.
Same here. Its called Mueller insurance inc. It can't end.
After all, the republican establishment bought and paid for the policy.
Don't you get it? This is not the democrats nor the fake news.
THIS Mueller investigation is the republican necessity. It cannot end. Ever!

Politics is a dark dirty filthy evil sinister beast.
If we only knew how bad it really is, we'd have noting to do with any of it.
Politics has killed our own children (i.e. Vietnam). Then lie about it.
Politics has orchestrated the takeover of foreign countries using the most sinister tactics. Then lie about it.
And we wonder why they hate us so....
Politics created the CIA and FBI to do the dirty work. Some good, but a lot of not so good.
Many congresses and many presidents have lied to our face, then lied again to hide the original lie.
In short, very little of what happens actually appears as it seems. Or, was not well planned out in the first place.
Even when things seemingly to go terribly terribly wrong, that too was probably well planned out to go exactly as it did with serving some sinister but necessary cause.
However, necessary for whom?

Back then, the Republican establishment the good ole boys at the top as it were, were very afraid that Trump could and might actually win. And they had no idea as to what or who this Trump guy really was.
So Mueller has become their little insurance policy.
Something they could pull out of their hat and use should Donald Trump act up. And they are still not sure, those republicans at the top, what the hell Donald Trump might do next.
The signs are there to prove the point.
We have Republican after Republican jumping up and retiring from politics.
Paul Ryan who seemed so assured only a few months ago now admitting he just could not take it anymore.
And Ryan was one of the stable guys in the room.
Yes, even Donald Trump has driven the Paul Ryan's absolutely insane.
But.... Paul Ryan will never admit it.
They will only admit should that insurance policy need to be enforced. Used to kick the crazed, orange, Putin loving Soviet operative out of the Whitehouse.
Then, they will all say, "I knew it. I knew it. But I had to bite my tongue. I was told to keep quiet".
One day even Paul Ryan will write a tell-all book, and then we will know the truth.
Or, at least his version of the truth.

First it was Russian ties. Then came the Russian spies. And the money. Lots and lots of money.
Always remember the money.
And now, it has evolved into sex and prostitutes. Pay-offs. Shady lawyers. And again the money. Never forget the money. Lots and lots AND LOTS of money.
Seems the republican establishment needed not only one insurance policy, but two.
And now they have two, just in case.
Just goes to show how uncertain, disturbed, terrified, worried, and humiliated the republican establishment has become.
They might act as if everything is all peachy, going as planned, and everyone is solidly onboard with Donald Trump. They might act as if everyone is on the same page.
Don't be fooled.
They still have no clue as to who or what this Donald Trump guy really is. Or, what the hell he might do next.
Or god forbid, what he has done in the past.....

Remember, Trump still has the "red button" to end all red buttons within arms reach.
And that fact is quite unsettling to your average republican establishment politician.
Still in doubt?
Just ask Paul Ryan. Or the dozen other republicans fleeing this sinking ship.
Or better yet, wait for their books to come out.....

You are welcome but only the first part was a straight answer. The rest was polemical, whatever that means.

Do me a favor. Give me one example where I've ever done that in this forum. Or is that too incumbent upon me to prove or disprove?

The only one I can recall is when I cautioned against using RT as a source for anything.

Quit diverting from the topic, Milk Dud. You got an answer that you could have found hours ago on your own.

The simple answer to the op's question: When hell freezes over. Mueller is has a job for as long as he wants to keep working. Now let's see how many lives get destroyed in his wake, through the next decade...

Trump can't fire Mueller without huge ramifications and he knows it. The only one who can call off the dogs is Rosenstein and he won't do it. Sessions is powerless.

I'd say if it were anyone else in the same predicament that Trump is in, I'd totally agree with you. But for the fact that Trump actually won his run at the presidency against the odds he was facing I told myself I would never ever underestimate that guy again. So with that, all I'm going to say about this is that anything and I mean Anything is possible with Trump.

Good Grief:

"Well I don't know why I came here tonight.
I've got the feeling that something ain't right.
I'm so scared in case I fall off my chair,
and I'm wondering how I'll get down the stairs.

Clowns to the left of me!
Jokers to the right!
Here I am stuck in the middle with you.

Yes I'm stuck in the middle with you,
and I'm wondering what it is I should do.
It's so hard to keep this smile from my face.
Losing control yeah I'm all over the place.

Clowns to the left of me!
Jokers to the right!
Here I am stuck in the middle with you."

Compuwiz, Something to consider when you elucidate the simle:

Simple Simon met a pieman,
Going to the fair;
Says Simple Simon to the pieman,
Let me taste your ware.
Says the pieman to Simple Simon,
Show me first your penny;
Says Simple Simon to the pieman,
Indeed I have not any.
Simple Simon went a-fishing,
For to catch a whale;
All the water he had got,
Was in his mother's pail.
Simple Simon went to look
If plums grew on a thistle;
He pricked his fingers very much,
Which made poor Simon whistle.
He went for water in a sieve
But soon it all fell through
And now poor Simple Simon
Bids you all adieu.
And tweaker, The odds of anybody winning an election are not based of the faces of a dye but on one's assessment of the political climate in relation to human nature. Simple Simon will have his pie without a penny only in an alternate reality. The odds that Trump would win in this one were excellent but if he will last in it a very different question.
