So when are we going to stand up for our right to own a gun?

Every other race, religion, etc has their little marches in DC when something is going on, when are we going to stand up to keep our rights from eroding away. I am kind of suprised the NRA hasn't organized some type of get together, especially since they are expecting a ruling on one of the topics tomorrow or so.

I know I will go to jail before I give them up.

What topic are you referring to?

And how would it help any when most of the killing is done by stolen guns to begin with?

While the yuppie gun grabbers in big cities everywhere may think they are powerful and the larger number, they are wrong.

I would like to see some people try to take away my guns! I hope no state or government is stupid enough to try that!

i grew up around guns and hunted half my life, but I think there really is no need for handguns in our society and think they should be banned.

rifles/shotguns have their hunting purposes, but all handguns are good for are robberies.

The funny thing is you are more likely to get robbed, attacked, raped, etc in a big city and those are the places that are trying to get rid of fire arms.

Meh, marches are for jobless hippies.

$ + SIC's get the job done much more efficiently in DC.

My late 1/2 uncle was a police officer and personal gun dealer/collector. He said that if the government ever came looking for their records for some kind of gun ban, all the dealers would throw the records into the fireplace and burn them.

Also, I doubt you're gonna get many volunteers to go door-to-door in Texas trying to collect people's guns. And alot of guns would go "missing" or "lost" if there ever was a ban. My father has a mint-condition gun 40+ years old that I used to hunt with.. no pinko facist commie government employee will ever get his hands on that.. it's my inheritance, part of my family.

OP is apparently yet another severly oppressed white guy whose complete lack of basic grammar skills -- "Every other race, religion" -- would lead the reader to believe that gun ownership is a race and/or a religion, which it may well be in his tiny little mind.

He's armed, he's angry, he can't even communicate properly . . . nope, nothing to worry about with this one.

If we don't need hand guns you can tell the police to turn theirs in ASAP.

I used to be completely against gun ownership. As I got older, my feelings towards the subject changed completely. I WANT to own one now; convincing my fiancee is another story.

It's a maturity thing. You guys will soon understand.

I sincerely doubt that.
