Hardest workout? Hm. Well, I did water polo the summer of '05 and we did some ridiculous stuff. I remember the aftermath: my legs were so shot that I couldn't walk, and I mean literally, my quads, hamstrings, and butt were so sore. I actually peed brown, which I later found out was due to the fact that I pushed my muscles so hard and they were so traumatized that they liquefied into potassium, which went into my bloodstream and was filtered out by my kidneys. The hardest workout, if I remember correctly, consisted of circuit lifting in the weight room, 1 minute sets, 30 sec rest, for I believe 30 min. Then we went to the track. We warmed up with running a couple laps and then went to do bleachers. I honestly can't remember how many bleachers we did. We did them in sets of I believe 10. And we did somewhere around 5 sets. Keep in mind, these were sprints. We got more if we didn't make it up and down in a certain time. After that, we did lunges across the long way of the football field and as we thought we were done, the coach made up do a whole lap around the track of lunges. *Sigh* And we hadn't even touched the water yet. When we got to the pool, we did sprints in a 25m pool. We have several marks set up and we had to go to the first mark, back, the second mark, back, the third mark, back, and all the way to the end of the pool and back. We probably did 15 or so of those. After that we did drills where we do 25 frog jumps, then tread across the deep pool, then do 100 situps, and sprint across the 25m pool, and then do 25 more frog jumps. I think we did about 8-10 of those. After that was treading, passing, and shooting drills. Then we did more lunges 'cause the coach got pissed. After that, I gimped to my dad's Dodge Ram and had to use all my upper body strength to get me into the car. I honestly say that that workout made me rethink who I was. No joke. I can still remember the pain... Ouch.
