For me, that would be Sonya Carson in my Junior year of high school. I don't think I had a drop of moisture left in my body after that :D

Kramer wore those on Seinfeld.... ;)

It was the time I single-handedly rowed a big, heavy, 2-man lifeguard dory from Channel Islands marina up to Ventura marina, then back again, about 25 miles round trip.

By the time I made it back I was starting to hallucinate I was so far beyond exhaustion.

Rowing 20+ kilometres non-stop at just below race pace in preparation for a regatta, and then some sprints on the erg (rowing machine).

I rode the Amtrak Irvine to San Diego Century in September. It was my first century ride and my longest ride leading up to it was 53 miles. I had been riding regularly for about a year though and I wasn't really sore the next day. Mild tightness but that's about it.

It was, by far, the hardest physical challenge I've ever done.

Edit-Yes, I rode a bicycle 100 miles in one day. In fact, it took me just over 6 hours to ride that distance.

2 hours of karate class, followed by an hour and a half of sparring, then another hour of advanced aerial kicks. I passed out when we all lined up to salute at the end and spent the next 45 minutes on the floor. Good times.

I ran/jogged 23 miles once after staying up all night, I left at like 4 AM and didn't get back till 9AM. Although that was partially because after the run I decided to sit down for "a while" but my legs literally froze solid after sitting down, I tried to get up and just fell back on my ass.

Another one that isn't nearly as hard, but was pretty cool was swimming across the Tennessee river and back. Its not really very far, but its alot funner then swimming laps in a pool, also a little scarier since there were boats going by (probably was not a good idea since a speed boat could easily have not seen me and my brother and run one of us over). This was also when I was like 15, so it seemed a little longer than it probably was.

Heh, seems theres a few of us crew members on here. We definitely did 20000 during training on the water, about 100 km per week during the heavy times. No matter what, the water is always better than those blasted machines. That little computer sits there so smug staring you in the face, almost mocking you if your split time climbs slightly. A$$hole. I never hated a simple LCD display more.

My wife was gone once and I had to go all the way to the kitchen for a beer. And back again to the living room. It was brutal. I was so sore for the next week I couldn't pleasure my wife properly and she left me.

Hardest workout? Hm. Well, I did water polo the summer of '05 and we did some ridiculous stuff. I remember the aftermath: my legs were so shot that I couldn't walk, and I mean literally, my quads, hamstrings, and butt were so sore. I actually peed brown, which I later found out was due to the fact that I pushed my muscles so hard and they were so traumatized that they liquefied into potassium, which went into my bloodstream and was filtered out by my kidneys. The hardest workout, if I remember correctly, consisted of circuit lifting in the weight room, 1 minute sets, 30 sec rest, for I believe 30 min. Then we went to the track. We warmed up with running a couple laps and then went to do bleachers. I honestly can't remember how many bleachers we did. We did them in sets of I believe 10. And we did somewhere around 5 sets. Keep in mind, these were sprints. We got more if we didn't make it up and down in a certain time. After that, we did lunges across the long way of the football field and as we thought we were done, the coach made up do a whole lap around the track of lunges. *Sigh* And we hadn't even touched the water yet. When we got to the pool, we did sprints in a 25m pool. We have several marks set up and we had to go to the first mark, back, the second mark, back, the third mark, back, and all the way to the end of the pool and back. We probably did 15 or so of those. After that we did drills where we do 25 frog jumps, then tread across the deep pool, then do 100 situps, and sprint across the 25m pool, and then do 25 more frog jumps. I think we did about 8-10 of those. After that was treading, passing, and shooting drills. Then we did more lunges 'cause the coach got pissed. After that, I gimped to my dad's Dodge Ram and had to use all my upper body strength to get me into the car. I honestly say that that workout made me rethink who I was. No joke. I can still remember the pain... Ouch.

Played two 60minute ice hockey games in a row with no more than 5 minute breaks between periods and an hour break between games. I had never been so tired in my life, nor sweaty! Good times though.

Navy bootcamp. One long workout.
People may laugh. In fact many of our guys did laugh on the plane.
Then we arrived in Great Lakes.
Everybody thinks Navy bootcamp is a joke.
Till they get there.

EDIT: Actually, bootcamp was a joke. When I failed out of Nuke school I was a deck seaman for three years.
I asked to go back to bootcamp.

hmmm thats and easy one...november last year, my father was rebuilding his stroked 351 Clevo V8 in his 79 fairmont and we had to lift the assembled short motor(Block, crank, cam, pistons and conrods) from the boot of my car and carry it about 25 meter from the front yard down to his shed, that was a mighty effort for just two people cause any body who has worked on ford V8's know that 351 clevo's are heavy sons of b!tch's

I played in a hockey tournament once that left me so tired I couldn't pay attention enough to buy a hat. My dad had to buy it.

Another time, the last game in the tournament we only had 4 players and a goalie. We won. That might be my greatest sports moment.
