And a damn fine microbrewery of the same name. 😉

I don't really live in any "city" myself, smack dab between two native pueblos though one known for being greedy, cut-throat jerks, and the other for actually trying to preserve a bit of it's heritage.

Not a darned thing. Basic suburbia. The best I could come up with in a quick search is
Ranked 61st best place to live in New Jersey in 2008 rankings of the "Best Places To Live" in New Jersey.

Home of Camp Lejeune and USMC Air Station New River.

I spent quite a bit of time at Lejune back in the day...just before I "went on vacation to Uncle Sam's Southeast Asia Vacation Wonderland. (AKA, "the land of bad things")
Went back there after I returned to the world...for a couple of months.

My son went to school at MCAS New River for about a year when he went into the Corps.

Let's see...Modesto...George Lucas grew up here, and American Graffiti is supposedly based around his life here. (although it was filmed in Petaluma)

Then, can't forget Scott Peterson...who was convicted of murdering his wife and unborn son and dumping them into SF Bay.

We often have the worst air in the nation here in the "Big Valley," as well as being the "Car Theft Capital" for many years running...

We're the home of Gallo Wines..so drink up!

and last but not least...Modesto is the home of the late Kirby Hensley and h is Universal Life Church...where anyone could become a legally ordained minister...free of charge, but "please send a donation of $25 or more".

Windsor, Ontario, Canada

- only border crossing where you travel north to enter the USA from Canada
- 19 and 20-year-old Americans from MI and OH come here to drink
- automotive capital of Canada
- Ambassador bridge and tunnel under the Detroit River - border crossings
- strip joints
- bad air quality
- our gorgeous waterfront
- Hiram Walker distillery founded in 1858 and made Windsor a hotbed for rum-runners like Al Capone in the early 1900s.

that's all off the top of my head. i was raised in the county but I have come to love Windsor as my hometown.
