1. I am not American

Not sure how this is relevant, seeing as how I never made such a claim.
You quoted him and them brought up the US in this post, creating the implication
If NK is attacked after this buildup i would say they had it coming.

Interesting logic, because nobody has had a bigger military buildup than the United States over the last several decades. In terms of money spent, weapons systems developed, military bases, and countries bombed, invaded, and occupied, it's not even close. The United States leaves the rest of the world in the dust.

So if the United States is attacked, would you similarly justify it by saying the Americans had it coming?

2. That the US went to war with Iraq meant that all of our work had been for nothing, at a time when we had Al Quaida corened and were ready to finish them off they called back ALL air support and left 15000 people who were basically civilians and who were not allowed to leave camp.

I am of the opinion that it was made ONLY because the war was about to end and they didn't want that, that is evidenced by the results. Before the invasion of Iraq do you know which group committed the most (by a margin of 100:1) terrorist attacks? Hindus. After allowing Al Qaida to reign free they are now present in pretty much every nation on earth.

Not entirely sure what you're arguing here, but it's clear you weren't interested in attempting to counter the staggering U.S. military buildup point I made.

So don't fucking come and tell me about how the US were wrong in invading Iraq, i could school you on the subject and while i'm at it i can also tell you that NO US troops were present while us Brits were the first on ground in both scenes.

Don't kid yourself. There's absolutely nothing you can school me on with regard to U.S. foreign policy. I've forgotten more than you'll ever know.
this is a pissing match that should go to PM - not in this thread

This, of course, does not matter at all, NK is a fucked up nation that has gotten a sweet deal every time they have attacked the US bases, their population has not received one pence of it but the leadership lives in luxury.

The U.S. is only marginally less fucked up than North Korea. And just like North Korea, our ruling political and economic class lives in tremendous luxury while the peasant tax slaves live in relative squalor.
You either need to understand the NK civilian population or you are trolling here.

It's not about being superior, it's about being a human being and hoping that the reign of terror will end.

What terror are you speaking of specifically? How will fighting a war against North Korea help end terror?
The terror that the NK leadership instills in/on the local population. If people need to risk death to escape their own country; that should indicate that there is an issue with the way the government operates.

Ah... So unless I agree with your assessment of the situation on the Korean peninsula, I am trolling. I'm golden if I agree, a troll if I don't. It's your worldview, or an infraction.

You know, I have to say, the juxtaposition of this stiflingly arbitrary and authoritarian viewpoint of yours against the backdrop of a discussion about the tyrannical North Korean government makes for some delicious irony.

Have it your way. I'll exit the thread so you guys can read and discuss approved ideas only.

Let me translate what he said in a way that you may understand:

Look son, you're a fucking retarded little piece of sheit, that is all you will ever be because you refuse to listen to those of us who actually have knowledge on this matter.

So good day and piss off.

I agree with him, you do realize that people in NK die by the millions of starvation while the political partners and freineds live a life of luxury that would trumph a US billionairs life.

My apologies to EK if i stepped on his toes.

...

So you either know nothing about the US, know nothing about NK or don't know what "marginally" means.

I really can't see how anyone could say that with any knowledge on the subject and keep a straight face.

Congrats on confirming you totally lack any credibility whatsoever.

Drum up arms sales? My understanding of the situation is that North Korea's major threat is not its fledgling nuclear capacity but its massed artillary within striking distance of Seoul.

What if they sell a nuke to a terrorist who could import it into the United States? That's what scares me about their nuclear program.

Kim Jong Un is a new enemy, so we are reacting to him just SLIGHTLY differently then Kim Jong Il.

South Korea is more or less done with the physical attacks, so any more sub attacks or shelling, you can be sure bet they will fire back. Their populous really got angry over being pacifist last time, so the politicians answered "Next time we won't turn the cheek" basically.

So here we are, wondering if a physical attack of any form will take place.

If anything, we may get a korean version of the Gulf of Tonkin
