So Trump doesn't want immigrants from "s***hole countries"

It’s funny when right wing people reveal who they are in this way. I would never think to limit immigration to this country based on personal beliefs. Apparently you do. Says a lot about people.
It really demonstrates how they have a completely different thought process. It just doesn't work the same. They are, physically, incapable of coming to particular conclusions.. Or more importantly, even entertaining alternate conclusions.

If they support murder for blasphemy and/or apostasy that's a deal breaker for me. I don't know why you wouldn't care.

Obviously there is some rational limit to how odious someone’s beliefs can be. I also don’t support pro-baby eating immigrants. That being said I see no evidence of Nigerian immigrants to the US murdering people for blasphemy so I think we’re safe on that one.

I do not want to go incognito. I do not want to be in a "foreign" country thinking "they don't know I'm American, thank God." I don't want to feel embarrassed at the thought of talking to the people around me. That's reprehensible, the idea of that depresses me.
FFS that's not how it works either...

I don't think Charlie Hebdo would so coyly play it off as outlandish to fear the consequences of such immigration. Violence and terrorism across Europe can be used as a bellwether for what too much of those beliefs looks like.

The best part is no one has said the president didn't say that. Even though trump denied he said it. Its like they know hes a liar and glaze right over his denial.
One of the worst things about this so called man is that he represents the notion that lying is the thing to do, no matter what. I am struggling for the words. If truth means anything to you, that guy is anathema.

What are we talking about here? Thought police? If someone wants to come here to murder blasphemers they aren't going to admit that is their belief.

But he said he doesn't want people from shithole countries. Which would imply that those people are shithole people purely because of where they come from.
And you can extrapolate his remark:

He wouldn't want to have them as tenants (ala the suits filed against him and his father).

He wouldn't want to hire the handicapped, wouldn't feel inclined to favor aid to disadvantaged nations. Shit holes are shit holes, after all, why bother with them? His taste runs to gilded walls, no slumming for Trumpy.

The Charlie Hebdo killers were French citizens. Regardless, I will continue to coyly play it off as outlandish because of the total lack of evidence of that being a serious threat. To restrict immigration for thousands or millions based on the fact that someday their children might be psychopaths is an absurdity.

You realize the primary terrorist threat in America is from conservatives, right? Right wing terror far and away beats Islamic terror in both number of attacks and fatalities since 9/11. Should we be limiting the immigration of people with conservative beliefs?

For trump its just second nature. I had this girlfriend in high school that lied consistently, she would blatantly lie and when presented with facts would either keep lying spinning it into fantasy land or would do a 180 and would lie she never lied in the first place. Like trump she believes her own lies to the point she was so adamant about them it was hard not to believe her some times. Of course I eventually realized she was mental and its pretty shocking trumps supporters can't see hes one and the same.

And yet with a soul/mind/heart like his he can do nothing but slum it. He is filthier than the filthiest filth can imagine.

I agree and saw an interview on CNN where his supporters stand by him all the way irrespective of what data they are presented with.

Well, I would guess the majority of them don't know your ex-girlfriend therefore they don't have that comparison to draw upon. But of course I understand what you mean. If he's thinking, he's lying. If he's breathing, he's lying. His supporters don't care. There's something broken in them and what do unaccountable broken people do? It's certainly not take accountability. It's definitely not try to fix themselves. No, they blame everyone around them and stay ugly. Trump has tapped in to that. Because these people think that forcing others to conform to their way of thinking (so ugly in its formation and disgusting in its presentation) will miraculously fix everything they allow no room to fix themselves. Working on oneself is hard and scary. In that? They are complete cowards and spiritually bankrupt and for that they will make everyone pay.

a lot of white supremacists are embracing his comments as giving them legitimacy. A nice compilation at the link below.

Funny how even the white supremacists get it when the Trump followers refuse to.

So the narrative among Trump Trolls here is that Trump's statement had nothing to do with racism. Yet even the racist nazis get it, and of course, embrace and support his idea that "these people from shithole countries (black and brown people)" are unworthy of coming here.
Even the freakin nazis get it... and the Trumpsters refuse to admit it was blatantly racist.

Just in case y'all didn't realize how stupid you look denying the obvious.

Presumably not, but his high school girlfriend has a lot of company... Possibly the most bizarre thing about people like that is that they're usually quite credulous themselves and (seem to) accept things at their most superficial level (though you might expect the exact opposite). Or at least they appear to, though imx, they mostly just are only half paying attention (if that) to anything anyone else says, and one never really knows exactly what they're making of it when you're talking to them... (and what they do make of it often turns out to be almost bizarre and unconnected with logic or everyday reality.) As an aside (though I think it must be suggestive of something, psychologically), they're also prone to asking "what do you mean?" every third sentence, even when you speak to them using only perfectly ordinary, everyday words of three syllables or less.<sigh>

Doesn't imply this nor that they're "shithole people" in the first place, if that's even a thing. You must be from the western region of the UK, where they use infer and imply interchangeably. It's all in your head. I remember a time when people knew what things like racism meant... these days it's hard to tell what isn't racism. Sad?

Countries aren't people. People are admitted, not countries. Discrimination isn't necessarily racist. He could think these countries are shitholes for a myriad of reasons. I think the UK is a shithole, because of all the surveillance, the overcrowding, the rudeness, its surrender to Islam, and above all its unreliable LTE. None of this makes me a racist...

I bet you're really good at reach arounds.

He probably has a secret poster of Trump in his closet so he can kiss the ring without anyone else seeing him.

I have the soundboard app on my phone. That's about it. And my ringtone is set to, "We eat mcdonalds until we come to an agreement." Other than that, and this, barely think about the guy.
