Do not me started on the Celtics....They are just too old. Kevin Garnett looks so winded at times that it makes you wonder how much gas he actually has left. I remember when they signed Shaq. My first thought was, "Dam, this team is going to be the official sponsor of bengay"

Blows me away the celtics are looking to get rid of Rondo... they need to be getting rid of guys like Garnett.

Yeah, I agree 1000%. dump garnett, package him with ray allen for Howard. But who cares, let the celtics die slow. I hate em.

Garnett and Allen for Dwight Howard? What are you smoking? Or did you mean Rondo and Allen for Howard? That's still not enough.

Isn't Allen an expiring contract? That would be nice IMO. Rondo is a franchise type guy and I believe Allen would be coming off the books. Not too shabby.

But yeah the Garnett/Allen talk is ridiculous.

Either way I've accepted the Mavs are not getting both DWill and D12 so if the Magic move D12 then we'll end up with DWill.

Knicks defense is no good unless it's in the 4th quarter

well Knicks defense improved after Dirk and Amare both got some rest time on the bench at the same time

Not bad for Knicks in the 1st quarter against the defending NBA champs (12 pts lead). If they keep playing like that and keep on improving, they can hang with anyone.

Facebook CEO in in the crowd.

JR Smith has passed more in this game than his entire career

He is an aggressive scorer but he does pass the ball. He isn't gonna pile up triple doubles since he is a bench player, but he is capable. I've always seen him to be one of the most dangerous guys to come off the bench.

That is just from taking two minutes to cruise game logs.

Exactly, and the Knicks shot 4/24 last game so they maybe that mean is correcting itself...

Give it three more quarters.

The Knicks had NO business losing to the Hornets. Shooting 4-24 explains the loss in a sense, but it doesn't explain why they kept shooting threes. They win that game if they shoot the same percentage but take half the threes, going 2-12 instead.

By the same token, they have no business beating the Mavs tonight but they will if they continue to hit more than 50% of their threes. It is hard to find a game where a team hits that percentage and loses.

Totally agree about the Hornets. However, they can still win this game without the 3 but it will take a miracle of God. Dirk is now starting to heat up, and Lin is cooling off a little.

EDIT: LIN JUST BLOCKED THE MATRIX W00t! Just when I start to doubt him...

EDIT2: Half over, Lin only 1 TO to end the half. Much better than his past games at protecting the ball, and he's outplaying everyone on the Mavs at this point, even though they're only up by 3.

Dammit. I missed the first hour. Forgot it was at 1.

Only 1 turnover for Lin in the 1st half. Nice to see. 12 points and 6 assists too.

PS. ESPN fired the guy that posted the beloved patriot in the armor headline. That seems rather harsh. My guess is that it was an honest mistake. Just a very bad one.
