Not much interest in it this year for me and thought the field was pretty weak, but I really hope Seth MacFarlane goes off script and does/says something obscene and gets away with it because he's Seth MacFarlane, that would make it worth watching.

Wow, another win for Waltz in a Tarrantino movie. Loved his character in Unchained, the scene/line with DiCaprio near the end was great.

People are either loving or hating Seth as host. Alot are saying his opening sucked and hold up Billy Crystals lame openings as quality openings.

Some people are pissed they used the Jaws theme to cut someone off during their acceptance speech. Kinda sucks for the guy he was 1 of 4 and the last to speak but they arent going to let people go on and oh. Jaws theme might have been a poor choice of cut off music.

Billy Crystal had a bit of class. If you think thats lame, fine, but I think you are whats wrong with Hollywood these days if the only things you find entertaining are gross and shock.

He had class yes but in his later hostings he was stale, and neither funny or clever. His tired openings were lame after the first time he did them, and more or less repeated the same damn thing every year he hosted.

Franco and Hathaway are still far worse than McFarlene.

Not watching, don't care much for award shows. Checking IMDB from time to time, though. Nice to see Waltz get recognized for his work.

This is the first time in a long time I've actually sat and watched the Oscars.

Did they used to have this much music? I seem to remember more film montages.

You know that she's still alive and already has an Oscar, right?

He was 1 of 4, but he rambled so long that he's the only one who got a chance to speak.

Just put it on. Ugh, Seth MacFarlane is such a hack. You can tell he's trying to hold back his usual edgy stuff. Cringe worthy. Should get Ricky Gervais to host.

Anywhoo, I haven't really seen a lot of new movies this year.
