The cops thought it was pretty funny, and rolled their eyes - we even offered them some smores. The cops were really nice about it - said they saw nothing wrong.
Update:
I was walking home today and saw her sitting on her front steps. I decided not to hold a grudge and I said good evening to her. She was so excited got up said hi and did this really stupid excited wave like nothing happened. I almost said good evening jack a$$, but decided against it.
On another note, I have received some phone calls and talked to other neighbors that wanted to make sure I knew that only she was behind this and not them. There is a consensus in my neighborhood that she is a complete idiot!! Found out more info about her and how often she calls the cops on kids and stuff like that...what a sad and distorted life she lives with her two kids.
