Last time I saw GnR was them opening for Metallica...or it could of been the other way around..so many decades ago. Was an awesome concert though.

oh yeah I totally forgot I caught VR; Patience was actually a highlight of their set for me.

They did the Guns songs they played justice for sure. The venue I saw them in was poor though and the bass echoed muddling the sound:\ It's too bad the second VR album didn't mirror the first...

Stadiums? I'm glad they're touring, but going for stadiums seems overly optimistic.

I wonder how long the tour lasts before they crash and burn like Van Halen did on their last reunion tour.

With Axle's well known tendency to be a massive douche-bag the Non-Appearance and Event Cancellation insurance premiums must be some of the biggest in history.

I'm guessing he needs the money bad enough that he'll find a way to control his tantrums for a few months.

Lol what package did you get or is your city on sale already?

(And how much were tickets?)

$307 to see GnR from the very right of the stage (horrible line of sight to the stage). That's value!

No thanks. I'll pass. 😀

Loge tix in SD aren't too bad @ $80 face + fees (the blue area below), even the $100 isn't too bad. Field level prices @ $225 is atrocious though .

Buddy has a Citi card and hooked it up for me. Seattle, Centurylink, Section A, Row 14. $250 a piece.

Pit tickets are $1700 for this show, $600+ for center sections in front of row 20, the rest was all sold out already.

What VH tour are you talking about? They reunited in 07-08 with DLR, huge, successful tour.

Toured in 2011 in support of a new album, Eddie's health issues cancelled that one.

Toured last year, did very well.

I'm guessing you're talking the 04 tour with Sammy. They completed all the dates on that one, but Eddie was a drunk, drugged mess for most of it....but it didn't crash. Did very well,(top 5 or 6 tour that year) but it was over after that.

That's the price to also get the used Depends one band member wore during the concert.

That might actually be true if you're talking Black Sabbath. Ozzy is incontinent. If you've seen him live in the last 15 years or so, he always has buckets of water on stage that he pours over his head (supposedly because he is hot) and sometimes at the crowd.

The real reason is to hide that he's pissing his pants when he sings.

Field tickets for Cincinnati show are $300+ each, plus fees. Meh. Lower bowl seating is $240 each, plus fees.

Too much for me to be crammed in with 60,000 people for a couple hour show of dubious sound quality that I'll lucky to be able to see without binoculars.

My wife is pissy, she wanted to go. But there's just no value in this.

You could always "settle" for the $100 seats.

I'm just totally adverse to giant venues for concerts. Simply "being there" isn't anything that moves my needle. I want to actually be able to see what is going on. That's just not really possible in the nose bleed section of a 60,000+ stadium.

$100 in SD is second tier dead center. It's not a nosebleed.

I get your point but...field level seating means you're looking at the back of someone's head. Well your wife will at least, unless she's a giant.

At Paul Brown those seats start at $140 for top of the lower level and then goes up about $10 a row.
