Ok, so it's midterm week, and one of my professors desides to have a huge take home online midterm with a 3 hour time limit. It takes me 33 minutes to complete it. Now I must admit, some of the questions that I got wrong I had no idea on, but there were a few (all of which were T/F) that I misread a word or didn't read a word. Like I'd skim the question and not see the word "not" or go over the word "always" and get the damn question wrong. Ok, I didn't bomb the test, got an 88% but I'm still ticked at myself because I could have probably gotten in the low 90s if I would have taken my time.

So, anyone else feel like they have to rush as fast as they can through a test? I mean, all through HS I was always the first one done with a test or quiz and would just wait for another person to hand theirs in first so I wasn't the first one walking up to the class room all the time...

IS THERE A CURE?!?

Gah, now I can't sleep 🙁.

I was the same way with rushing through tests and with waiting for someone to turn in a paper first. I always thought it was funny that like 10 people in class would turn in their tests all at the same time as soon as someone started to get up.

Wow, 30k posts, and where was I??

you're an idiot if you can't even read words like always and not...

Well sense I'm unable to read the words "always" and "not" I can't understand your response. Oh and these T/F questions, they're about a decent size paragraph long.

Flunking a test. 😛

🙁

I didn't flunk, just...I could have done better which is why I'm pissed at myself! But but n0c, I'm a plat member now!

I dont force myself to rush but i do have a tendency to work ridiculously fast and sometimes that can lead to mistakes. But usually i use my speed to my advantage and go back and check for mistakes

well, if you did a 3 hour test in 33 minutes, you obviously had time to read them and so you must not be able to read words such as always and not

Take the next test slower. There's no reason you need to rush through it.

Platinum member... I remember that. It was years ago. 😛

It ranks right up there as walking into a wall.

And give me time, I'll have more posts then you maybe even one day maybe!

It's possible. I think my PPD is probably going down. The whole "not posting much on the weekends" thing kind of kills it. 😛

Jero, give me two days 😛

Get a life. 😛

Well if I keep doing stupid stuff like I just did with this test I won't get hired upon graduation and I can just sit on AT all day eating peanut butter from a tube and dwarfing everyone in my PPD!

Hey n0c...I got x-windows running on arch linux now....so cool 😉

By the end of my night shift I plan on having just about everything working on here. I'm in love

Two days? You plan on posting 800 posts in two days?

I admit that I've very busy in the next couple of days so I won't be posting much if at all....

but still...let's try to be a tad bit realistic here 😉

🙂

i've gone from having a non-working kernel to running on kde.

Next stop, getting gnome working, then my final goal, get gDesklets up and running.

Things at work aren't so bad when I get to do system configuration 😉
