Sounds like some weird mid-life crisis thing. Do you care if she gets one? I wouldn't (except she'll talk funny for a while and that sounds kinda retarded...). But whatever. I wouldn't get one.

I'm not sure what to think. One side of me says "whoa, this is outside the box for this conservative guy. You're not going to be able to handle it" and my other side says "Imagine the possibilities...."

And yes, I think we're both going through a mid-life crisis.

If my wife wanted a tattoo I might object to that since it's more or less permanent.
 
Let her go for it... get it out of her system. That's something that's not permanent, and she'll probably remove it in a few months. My wife did the same thing with the belly-button ring... It seemed to be the hot fashion trend, and one of those mid-life crises for her. It's now gone.
