Why wouldn't you get want to get caught in the middle of this? She's your sister! If my sister was in any kind of trouble, the first thing I would do is be by her side.

I love my sister, and would help her with most things, but I am not getting involved with a biker gang.

I have spoken to her and given her my advise, but I will not be involved in a war that I told her would come to her if she continued the lifestyle she was living.

Well, what are you gonna do? Hide at school for a year or two? Man up, go home, protect your family.

Protect them with my fists?

A lot of good that's gonna do when a gang is intent on getting to someone to keep them quiet.

The second I get involved I sign my own life away.

Would you like to live with yourself the rest of your life knowing you could have helped, but didn't? Some things are worse than death. Besides 90% chance nothing will happen anyways.

There's nothing I can do to help. The RCMP already know my sister is involved somehow, so I can't protect her any more than the RCMP can. The gang knows who my sister is, they know her phone number and they know where we live.

In other words, I'm going home tonight wondering if someone's gonna come through the door intent on killing my sister or even the whole family.

There's a 90% chance people don't get killed randomly. My sister knows something that happened last night. I'd say she's definitly a target to be silenced.

Could your family go to a friends/relative's house for the night? Try to remove yourself from any connection with these people?

My sister has no friends, and my mom's only family lives in Hamilton, Ontario. I haven't suggested they go there. I'll see what the RCMP say tonight.

That said, I can't leave. So yay for me...

The Canadian Authorities are going after the Hells Angels and their associates big time, so much so that they are abusing their civil rights.

IMO, at some point, violent criminals have forfeited those rights. I'm not going to get into what the 'break point' is b/c this isn't P&N.

Hey some of them are as guilty as sin some are not. In every walk of life you have a criminal element, just look at Law Enforcement.

dude, call the guy and say we won't go to the cops if you leave us alone.

it aint that hard. it is risky to kill another person, so he would take the option above if you have some way to prove that you won't go to the cops.

I've heard of a lot of stupid ideas in my life, but this is way up there.

Agreed. I didn't just mean biker club violent criminals...I meant all violent predators. Sorry, guess I should have been more clear.

Bunch of internet warriors around here, telling the guy to get in a gun battle with the Hells Angels over his sister's stupidity. I'm sure each of you would singlehandedly wipe out a whole bar full of them with nothing but your pocket protectors :D

Also, kind of off-topic, but I found this paragraph very amusing. Looks like the gun laws are extremely effective in Canada: keeping law-abiding citizens unarmed so that only criminals have access to them.

Follow the way of the rubberband man to protect your family....

Sport a nine in your right, a forty-five in your other hand.

Some of us are quite willing to kill or die for our family.

The problem is, how are you going to kill for your family in this situation? It's not like he can just go out and pick up a few shotguns or rifles, he's in Canada. So that leaves knives, baseball bats, and other non-regulated weapons.

If 4-5 people show up with firearms, they're not even going to hurt these guys.

That said, he should be with his family at a time like this.

Well, that's a Canadian problem...my family is not unarmed. Of course it would be a nice roadtrip for me to get back to my parents and/or sister's house considering they're in Ohio. I figure my brother can take care of getting himself from Fort Riley to the homestead. :)
