No.. my point is that she's a lower class humble blond (albeit attractive) that I've known for about 6 years now. She's never dated for money and has been struggling to keep her head above water since I've known her. She meets some guy at a party and they stay in touch. She had no idea he was rich until they were talking about how they could see each other (he was in STL for something but lives in Chicago). She said she really didn't have the gas money to drive there and he laughed and said he'd buy her plane tickets. She goes and finds out he lives in a pricey condo and is rather well off. She never asked him about his money or how wealthy he was but when he handed her $8k in cash and didn't think twice about it, she realized what she was dealing with.

It's just funny how things play out.

If she's your bff, then why aren't you with her?

Well, she had a boyfriend when I met her and only recently broke up with him. It'd just be weird now and honestly, I know her well enough that I really wouldn't want to be in that kind of relationship with her.

If it makes you feel any better, he's probably old, balding and ugly.

Personally, I'd feel a little better if the love of my life left me for a fat, balding old guy with lots of money.

I always picture rich chicago people as being young well dressed frat types who enjoy drinking mixed drinks, ready to party however not much for conversation

I believe most Sugar Daddy / Sugar Baby get around this by saying it's a "service" not an "unconditional gift". Then again, he would be ultimately responsible for the taxes (as gifter).

He can give way more than that. He just have to fill out a form. There's a lifetime tax exclusion of something like 2 million per person.
