He understands now? I would have to say that your father is a pretty neat guy, if he was able to listen to what you had to say and take another perspective about the issue. Regardless, he just wants the best for you.

More people need to realize that weed isn't anything special; just another substance like alcohol or cigs. No reason to make up stories about how it will kill you, make you stupid, etc. Although it can make you stupid. 🙂

QFT, they're both morons. I don't have any problems with weed itself, but the fact that it's illegal where I have a problem with it. Should it be illegal, that's a whole 'nother debate. Right now it's illegall and thats what counts. I hope you and your father end up like the other moron on this forum, zane something I believe.
