STFU and mind your own business. If it's consentual, who fscking cares?!?
At 16, you're MORE than able to make your own decisions, etc. The puritian sex laws in this country are fscked up.
BTW, 16 is legal age of consent in many states. In some, it is 14. So stick that in your pipe and smoke it, you bunch of overreactive retards.
OMGSHE'S16CALLTHEPOLICE!!!
All I have to say is, I hope you dont go trolling at my daughter elementary school...

Do people not realize that it's not the strict age difference of 9 years that is the problem? Sure, 25 and 34, not terrible, 41 and 50, nothing terrible (except for the fact that the older person will most likely fall into health problems sooner and possibly restrict the little activity the younger one has left in his/her life - especially true when the older person is male). It's not the 9 year difference between 16 and 25, it's the fact that this girl is 16. There is just too much that a 16 year old hasn't experienced and a 25 year old has to make their relationship at all feasible.
yah that 25 year old has so much more experience.. what does the avereage 25 year old have on a 16 year old?
4+ years of smoking pot and drinking at college parties while playing WoW and BF2...
wow big gap there..
How old are you outta curiosity? Let me tell you what experience I've gained since I was 16. College with a major and 3 minors, 2 jobs, MCATs, applying to med schools, being of legal age and going to bars, meeting tons of new people of different backgrounds, traveling to europe, learning more about myself, running a student organization, teaching classes, being responsible for the rent, car payments, Internet bills, etc. You know what, that's enough, and I'm only 21, give me another 4 years. If you honestly believe that the AVERAGE 25 year old has done nothing but smoke pot and play video games you've got a seriously flawed view of the world.
I'm 34 at age 17 i joined the navy and fought for the country went to Desert Sheild and storm traveled to over 45 countries gained a top secret clearance married and had a house and 2 cars and had my name on an A-7E Corsair II.. all before age 20.. so la de dah..
I think you've just proven my point. You joined the armed forces, and as such were forced to grow up rather quickly. Look at all the experience you gained from having done so, now tell me that a girl living at home with her parents in high school has matured just as much?
No you just conceeded without even knowing it that different circumstances can mature a 16 year old faster. so that prooves what ive been saying all along.. WE DONT KNOW THE WHOLE STORY..
and everything is NOT so black and white.
We don't know the whole story. All we know is that we have "some" 16 year old and "some" 25 year old. I guess you'd prefer NOT to err on the side of caution and ASSUME this 16 year old is mature beyond her years rather than to assume that she's like the VAST MAJORITY of other 16 year olds in western civilization. Your logic frightens me.

Because I err on the side of caution. Would you prefer to not interfere and let something potentially bad happen, or interfere and possibly prevent something good? I can tell you that this 16 year olds parents (as with MOST (should be all?)) parents would prefer to err on the side of safety and try to protect their child.
y helo thar Kailer42. What do you think of 32 year olds?
Btw OP, need update on this!
Im not sure. That is an odd question. It is not that im interested in this man because if his age, but just be use of who he is. I mean, honestly, 32 is an age where it's pretty much out of the question, because it would be true that mostly any 32 year old would be on a higher life experience and intellectual level than a 16 year old....again, odd question. Perhaps you should work on veiling your intentions a little bit more if you are indeed attempting what I think you are.
so many prudes and snitches in this thread. very disappointing.
then it is YOU who will be going to jail.
Necros FTW!!!
IBTL
(although if OP comes in and posts how HIS FRIEND IS JUST ABOUT TO BE RELEASED FROM PRISON that'd be cool/weird, too)
Isn't age of consent 16 in most states? I don't see what your dilemma is aside from maybe you're in a state where 16 AoC is illegal. If so, just remember that many states have AoC as 16 so it's not that big of a deal.Ok so looking from the other side...im 16 and am Somewhat involved with a man who is 25... I know older people think that we all are mistaken in thinking that we are advanced and mature, but let me tell you that some shit has happened in my life that has caused me to grow up faster than I should have. It's tragic, really, how fragile youth is and how it can be ripped away. But, anyways, I find boys closeto my age extremely lacking in substance. iam trying to come to terms with the certain....lack of legality that my situation involves....but, it feels right and I'm happy with the way I feel. My point is that yes, it is illegal, and yes, there is the possibility of them being on two different levels in life and there being a fucked up power dynamic. But there is always the possibility of this girl being on his level, or visa versa. When thinking about situations like this, it is only fair to try to consider all facets....and relationships just have so many.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ages_of_consent_in_North_America#United_StatesEach U.S. state (and the District of Columbia) has its own age of consent. Currently state laws set the age of consent at 16, 17, or 18. The most common age is 16.[51]
I dated a 16yr old at around 20 and it was fine, she was definitely mentally mature.
I hope you bookmark this so you can come back and read it in 5 and 10 years.Ok so looking from the other side...im 16 and am Somewhat involved with a man who is 25... Yeah I know, I'm just joking around. It used to be worse here; basically any mention of a female in a thread caused, within a few replies, a "pics?" request. It was all in jest but it got a bit overboard I guess.Im not sure. That is an odd question. It is not that im interested in this man because if his age, but just be use of who he is.
