If the fact that CoD games were boring as shit wasn't enough to keep you away, maybe this will make a strong argument.

I'm sorry, but any game using "enemy spigots" until the player crosses a script boundary out to be outlawed by congress.

IW can simply add better anti-cheating protection - in the next $9.95 DLC package, together with a new map, a new weapon, and some product for your fleece. It's a win-win* situation. Why are we afraid these guys will abandon PC gaming again?

* A win for the developer and a win for the publisher.

Yeah, kind of funny/sad that they did a DMCA take-down on the video. If it violates their copyright (it doesn't) then so do all the other MW2 videos.

Those aren't in MW2. That was the biggest complaint about MW1 so they didn't do that again.

Yeah there are already aimbots and wallhacks out, so I guess you people who bought it get to enjoy local matchmaking connections with hackers/cheaters whom by the way, you cannot even kick/ban off the servers......

And you know if theres already hacks out, its just a matter of time till the game is flooded with them.....

What are "enemy spigots?" Google turned up nothing (except for your post hehe).

In other words, an endless supply of enemies would keep coming towards until you reached a certain point (ie, a trigger) in a map. You could stand in one place and shoot forever or move forward 10 feet and they'd stop coming. Typical of "script-heavy" games.

I actually tried googling spigots and found the definition. It's a like a faucet or something, but that was enough to give me an idea what "enemy spigots" are.

Sort of ot, but why do people want to cheat at something that gets you nothing. It really makes no sense. I can understand it in a game where you can sell stuff on ebay like a mmorpg, but this really seems like a waste of time for everyone involved.

LoL, you've never played Counter Strike Source I take it?

I'd probably still be playing COD 4 if not for rampant hacking. The only reason to even play multiplayer is for the competition. Cheating at an FPS is like approaching a hot girl, chatting her up, taking her out to dinner, getting her back to your place, getting her naked on your bed, then sitting in a chair in the corner to jerk off in the dark.

Exactly what I was thinking :(

its not that fun.

too much in game cinematic BS. lots of time spent 'walking around doing plot BS' compared to running around shooting bad guys

the 'offensive' level, was just plain LAME.

baddies spawn all over the goddamn place, including right next to you on some levels.

I cant beleive I was so jaded @ Treyarch, yeah World at War had its issues, but it wasnt game content related. it was sloppy patches and no new content for the PC. I'd rather have to change my audio settings to get sound when I patch the game, than want to never touch it again like I do MW2

If MW2 is a 9.5 like all those suck up reviews that I have seen say, then W@W is a 11.
