Buys highest end kit, has massive games collection, knows his stuff; what's not to like? And yeah, we can use discord to decide where most want to go. I suggest everyone provide their Reddit username, that way we can follow you.

The reality is if AT Forums are closed most of members are simply going to stop. Then whoever is left will eventually fade away too. I've seen it before.

Nicely organised. Each thread is distinct, easy to see who it's by, who responded last and what it's about. And that's the "new posts" section that cludges everything together.

I have also done this. As well as threads. They are all horrible apart from Reddit. But Reddit seems pretty impersonal, this place is cozy!

It's very hard to even post in the threaded bits. I made one post in P&N ( because it was a threaded sub forum) and now I can't even work out how to post again!

The SOP is to ask to have your original account reset. As you don't post like a RBM (returning banned member) no worries about starting a new account. I also hope you are wrong about everyone scattering to the winds.

So what are the remaining classic forums? I can name Overclock dot net, HardForum (HardOCP), TechPowerUp, XtremeSystems (Which was back but now it is 404 again), and Tom's Hardware. Something newer/not classic would be Level1Techs. Most of the others I can think about (CPU World, Vogons, VCFed, WinRaid) were either smaller or niche. Anything else?

I prefer this account, and it was me that had it deactivated. If you are saying your boxing gloves are older than my previous account, they would be quite old.

Also people tend to stop if just to resist sake of change. Maybe not all will be lost but a significant portion will never post again.
