Since about the middle of august I have been trying to bulk up, and I've gained about 8-9lbs so far. I previously was 179lbs and am between 188-189 now. I am eating LIKE CRAP. I'm talking about fast food like 3 times a week or so, hamburgers, hotdogs, lasagna, spaghetti, tv dinners, hot pockets, eating sweets, etc. I'm also taking 2-3 protein shakes a day, as well as a Celltech supplement.
I'm obviously not as cut in my belly area, but i've still got my abs underneath the little blubber starting to appear on my belly. I still have abs showing, just not nearly as much as before.
Before I started bulking I was beching 225lbs like 4 times. I did it 8 times last week and did 235lbs 6 times this past monday. I then did incline dumbell presses w/85lb dumbells and did 8 reps, 2 sets in a row, which I also had never done. usually I would get like 5 of them on the second set. So all is going well. My shoulder presses are getting back up there too, as I did 80lb dumbells 7 times last week, and I plan on getting it 8 times no problem this week.
I plan on stop trying to bulk up once I can bench 245lbs 8 times. I think I'll be about 195lbs by the time I do that, which is ideal for me bulking up now ,then I will go back on a lean cycle and just get ripped up.
