and after the tutoring session I realized I'd forgotten the incredible beauty of Calculus. Seriously. Calculus is such a wonderful area of mathematics. I got A's in Calculus back in college, but I never thought much about it. I guess when you get older you appreciate things from a different point of view. You guys should pick up your old Calculus text books and do some problems. You'll know what I mean.

I keep my old texts, but it's so tough to go back to them even though I want to.

Once there's no homework/grades/incentive involved it's too much of a fight...-

If you're tutoring a girl and all you can think of is the "beauty of calculus" the girl must be one fugly creature.

You need to touch yourself a lot more. Starting now.

Pick up your old Playgirl's and open some centerfolds. You'll know what I mean.

I thought this was going somewhere else.

I had a mentor who was great at math. He'd offer his tutoring services to the ladies as a means of getting them to bed. That's probably the only place calculus is applicable in life.

Try some analysis after that calculus.

If you find beauty in that you should be a math professor.
