Eat a Chicago dog. Portillo's is a great place, but, just about any place with dogs/red hots in the city, suburbs, or even in small semi-suburban towns 50 miles away will make a real Chicago dog.
My favorite place is probably Bob Chinns, it's a bit more $$, and it's like 15 miles or so north of the city along Restaurant Row in the suburbs, but it's uber delicious, fresh seafood flown in from all over, as well as great prime aged steaks. They use a lot of garlic, so if you are a vampire, you should probably avoid it (if the rumors about garlic are true. (Are they?))
Otherwise, if you're in town for 2 months, and you want to ride roller coasters and the like, 6 flags is kinda meh. Coasters are fun, but it's expensive, and waiting in line really really sucks. Also, they closed the Shockwave, which IMO was by far the best coaster there, so it's lameness has grown.
