so far, i've lost about 8 lbs. doing alright. i'm running at least 1.5 miles every day. today, i went for 1 hr of spinning and 1 hr of pilates.

8 pounds in 10 days... Not healthy. Don't ask for info if you don't want to take the answers to heart next time.

i am being healthy. i'm eating every meal, including fats and carbs, and i'm not overdoing anything. i understand that most of the weight i lost is water weight anyway.

Why would it be more water weight? You need to also be eating enough. That's the point. You can eat every meal, include all the macros, and still not go about it the way that will give you the best results. Calories are calories. If you're eating too few, you're still gonna screw with the ratio of muscle to fat. 8 pounds in 10 days... I dunno, man, it seems like you wanted it pretty bad and just kinda ignored us telling you to eat more... or you're just doing extra activity, which would still be going against the advice. *Shrugs* We don't say all this stuff to ruin you or make you waste time. We do it because it will result in the least overall work in the long run and will create the most efficient fat loss.

Dude, that is the condensed version. It is the most succinct guide I've personally seen.

But I'll offer this up as a way to get you going.

Grab Starting Strength.

Print the "good things to eat" and use it as your grocery shopping list, and get at least the recommended amount of protein every day.

Where is the good things to eat print out?

Look at the fat loss sticky at the top of the forums. It's in there. Copy/paste it into word and print it.
